So people should pay whatever is demanded of them, however much it is or else f*ck them, yes? -

Maybe it's me and im being thick. Can you explain how someone that can't afford to pay £60 for a ticket to football is meant to evolve like the dinosaurs didn't? -

Oh and now Frank gets all personal because dinosaurs dying out millions of years ago are exactly the same as people being priced out of football. You're mental!! -

"What is a club in any case? Not the buildings or the directors or the people who are paid to represent it. It’s not the television contracts, get-out clauses, marketing departments or executive boxes. It’s the noise, the passion, the feeling of belonging, the pride in your city. It’s a small boy clambering up stadium steps for the very first time, gripping his father’s hand, gawping at that hallowed stretch of turf beneath him and, without being able to do a thing about it, falling in love." To some of us that is what it once was and no longer is. Those people are dying about and their place being taken by toursits and day trippers and people like you where it's just 22 blokes kicking a ball around a field. You dont get it do you, but then that comes as no surprise. -
This cant be true. MLT is a c*nt who hates Cortese and only slags the club off as he wants to stay in the media spotlight. What right does he have to comment on our fans and team? I wish he'd keep his mouth shut. He was only our 7th or 8th best ever player. he should keep his opinons to himself and stop trying to damage the club.

Some people call me the space cowboy, yeah Some call me the gangster of love, Some people call me Mauricio, 'Cause I speak for the pompous c*nt above......

Pele. He then lost Steve Howard for the second goal.

and when we were in L1.

It was always going to happen. Wenger mentioned him before the Arsenal game so its not like it's suddenly news.
-
So the press are banned from asking fans their opinions. fans are told they'd be thrown out for holding up banners thanking their popular ex manager. Not one word of thanks or one mention at all in the programme for the recently departed ex manager. Adn you wonder why people are annoyed about the chairmans decisions?

I'm not sure everyone agrees he's out greatest ever player mate. A few are claiming he is "7th or 8th best" on the other MLT thread.

Little from what i saw last night.

Before the Chelsea game i said we'd need 4 wins and 5 draws from our last 17 games with 38 points this season being the safety mark i thoght would be needed. Points from games against Chelsea x 2, Man Uniteed, City and Spurs away being bonuses. Had us down to lose at Chelsea and draw last night so we are a point ahead of where i thought we'd be. We might lose our 4 point gap over the bottom 3 over the next 3 games as we play United and City but after that there is no reason why we cant get at least something from our remaining 12 games and Wigan away on current form. I think we'll stay up and relatively comfortably, provided we dont get anymore long term injuries to key players.

he didn't seem to have a problem giving out instructions to Rickie Lambert on the pitch, unless of course Rickie speaks Spanish.

I'm with you Nick. Hes 24 so still young for a centre back and has improved every week it seems. He's looked an excellent signing so far and for the price a bargain. I must admit i was a bit skeptical about his signing as the team he came from has the worst defence in the Dutch league and appeared to be a bit of a last minute panic buy and his early performances didn't really convince me. BUt he's really looking the part now. In Forren and him we have two relatively young centre halves who look like they could form a excellent unit for years to come. What with our new manager being a full international in that position that can only help them as well.

MLT is on record as saying he would happily meet NC to discuss and patch up their differences. NC has thus far declined to do so.

I think you'll find i said "Kelvin for England" Last time i checked "for England" would involve a call up to the squad wouldn't it? Anyway, from memory it was significantly more than that. "outrage" that Butland was in the England squad ahead of him. KD desrved to be in the squad and so on. I also recall one when we were in League One as well. So you are right to be shouted down.

Yeah that's right. I should have added to my post count by sitting on the internet last night instead of "cut and run" and gone to the game. What a plum :lol:

Well you'd hope so as it's a big part of my job. Unfortunately a lot of you internet people seem to have little handle on the real world. That is evident by a lot oft he posts on here and the mouth frothing and meltdowns people have. Canada Saints was a classic last night, accusing me of cutting and running as i was going to the game rather than sitting on my laptop answering his pointless questions. A football fan abused for going to games rather than sitting on the interrnet talking about it. Classic.
