There was a whole thread on it during the summer!!! I cant be arsed to find it but plenty will remember it. So it's you that's got it wrong sunshine.
-
They just showed a woman on BBC who was holding a "one Nigel Adkins" banner, she said she was told that if she held it up during the game she'd be ejected.

Jamie, we live in a country which believes in freedom of speech. You should know you cook for those that go to battle to defend that right. That doesn't exist inside SMS. He is a dictator of sorts. In fact there are quite a few similarities with North Korea, no freedom of speech, constant propganda spun out by the official sources and brainwashed people singing the name of their leader.

cut and run?! I was going to the game you utter plum!! Cortese doesn't give a f*ck, he really doesn't. However if i'd named the resturant then it might have an impact on them, even if it was some of the lemons on here going up the manager and saying in their finest Hampshire accent "oi mush, i ere you banned Nicola, wassssss all that about then mush?" and it's not fair. It's not an allegation,it's a fact. Just because you and Frank and the CoC dont like it it doesn't make it untrue. Like i said, internet people, not living in the real world, taking the internet far too seriously.
-
So you agree with the decision to take banners off of 12 year old children? You agree with the decsion to ban people from giving their views to the press outside the staidum?
-
i'm not usually one to overstate the abilities of our players unlike the "Kelvin for England" brigade but i genuinely think Schniderlin wouldn't look out of place in any team in the country. Really has looked a class act this season.
-
that's me holding the Nigel Adkins face.
-
well at least the picture proves not all the fans protesting were complete mongs.
-
because all the mugs on here claim it'll damage the club. yeah, right. It's really effected us the last two years hasn't it. its really causing us problems this season. It's wierd world internet people live in.
-
I showed this thread to a guy I work with today. He knows Matt well and was on Saints books in the mid 90s as young pro before being released. his words were 'is that serious? Matt is the most down to earth fella you'd ever met, a proper gent who loved it at Southampton, great bloke, why are fans slagging him off?' So I told him about it and he was genuinely shocked at ow pathetic some of you are.

Why do you think I won't name the restaurant and who happened? It isn't difficult is it. That's the trouble with you Internet people sitting behind your PCs demanding evidence, in the real world it might effect people. I certainly wouldn't want any clowns form here asking the owners or staff about the incident as I know the chaps and its not the sort of thing they want to advertise, which is fair enough. Other posters know about it though as its 100% FACT. Anyone, love to stay and chat with you Internet types all night but I've got a game to get to..
-
Disgraceful really. Even a couple of lines thanking him for his efforts would have been nice.
-
Christ, can you imagine what that would be like. And people think SISA are embarassing.
-
Wrong as usual. SISA don't even exist anymore.
-
Did I say it was bad then?
-
I don't think anyone did say that did they? One of if not the greatest player to play for us. Not sure what point you wierd Internet people are trying to prove by listing loads of players from other clubs over the last 40 years. Odd.
-
What had Dennis Bergkamp being better than Le Tissier got to do with anything? The weird world of Internet people.
-
Hilarious isn't it. Now saying the people like Alan Shearer and his two decent seasons at Saints were better players for Saints than MLT was. Funnily enough the vast majority of people don't seem to agree, those that don't think it was Matt will go with Paine or Channon. Now apparently he's only 7th or 8th best and only had talent wasn't a great player. Laughable.
-
It was an example of him being a c*nt that was asked for. I'm surprised you fail to understand this.
-
You are right of course. But we aren't CEOs of football clubs. In the case of MLTs ticket and NIck Illinsworths that wasn't a moment of anger. It was premeditated spitefullness. He didn't even reply to the letter he got after banning nick, jut ignored then. Do you find that spiteful behaviour acceptable?
-
/\ have a look at the thread about puncheon today. I praised him there. The problem is that when you praise him you don't get people like FC coming out with all sorts of bizarre reasons to defend him so I have to argue My point more. The thing I find bizarre is the lengths people will go to defend his behaviour and excuses they come out with to justify it.
-
I admit I don't like him now because o the way he's treated people. He doesn't care that I don't like him. I found him funny at first and like the streak of arrogance he has. But the more I've heard about him the more I've heard he is spiteful and nasty and treats people with contempt. You can't fault what he's done for the club but I don't understand why he can't treat people with more respect. As I said I'll praise him when he deserves it and he does on football matters.
-
I couldn't give a toss personally. But then in not a millionaire CEO of a football club spitefully banning fans for saying horrible things about me and getting myself banned from restaurants.
-
Utter Bol locks Jamie. I've regularly praised him. As I said I have today.
-
What about his treatment of Nick I? What about shafting a local company and then not turning up in court?
