I didn't say i think he would but he should do. Everyone is stunned and shocked by the decsion. from the fans to the national media and players. An explanation from him as to why he took the decision and why the new man is so much better would be the minimum you'd expect.

You seem to only want to believe things that are direct quotes from people at the club frank. It was obvious to everyone that Adkins was under pressure. It was stated on here several times that he was "sacked" only to be reinstated at least twice in the last 12 months. There were many, many reports that all was not well behind the scenes. There were ongoing reports that Cortese was looking for another manager. even today these were dismissed as bullsh it, wind ups and lies. Yet against this backdrop he achieved more than any of us could have hoped for when he took over. do you believe this is fair for a man who as achieved more than was asked of him? Now i know you'll say no one knows what goes on behind the scenes and no one knows 100%. Were any of us there at the time? The answer would be no. But some of us know people connected to the club who would be "in the know" and it seems despite the sneering, put downs and being shouted down for daring to say the things i mentioned above that actually, on balance, it is probably true, yes? UNless of course you believe it was just a snap decsion and everything else is just an amazing coincidence.

You dont usually hold back in giving them. so now we've established you dont agree with the decision to sack Adkins, what's your take on the treatment of him? The fact that despite 2 promotions and a five game unbeaten run he's been sacked. The new man knew he was getting the job weeks before he was appointed and rumours have been circulating for months about his position. do you believe that all these rumours were wrong, that there was no truth in them and those (myself for example) that were told they were wrong when discussing them. Or do you believe Adkins has been treated in the way a manager that you yourself have as desribed as having the potential to be like Alex Ferguson should be?

Why not just say if you agree with it or not, it's not difficult.

Cortese is an employee paid a directors salary. Plenty of employees leave companies. Making things up doesn't change that.

i've praised cortese when he's done things well and spoken out against him when he's done things badly. A lot of fans have stuck their fingers in their ears at things going on off the pitch because by and large, on it we've been a success. However, now the man who has brought him that success has been disposed of in a cruel and cowardly way. Cortese then doesnt even have the balls to meet the press and explain his decision to a furious fan base and a stunned media. Cortese has been treating staff like this behind the scenes for 3 years. As MLT said on sky earier, the rest of the staff know what he's like so they better just get on with their jobs or they'll be next. When i've mentioned this in the past i've been told it didn't matter, that they must all be crap, that they aren't up to the job. do people feel this way about Adkins? Or has he quite simply been stitched up and cruely disposed of just like some of the others? When people were celebrating Adkins saying he had a great relationship with the chairman a few months back and i said he was clearly not telling the truth, what else do you expect him to say? I was told i was wrong, Adkins has a great relationship with the chairman, he wouldn't lie about it. So are the cortese fan club going to admit they were wrong or are they still going to carry on spinning everything, inspite of the evidence they demanded so much now being there for all to see.
