Can you imagine the reaction of the media after the John Terry thing if it got out one of their black players claimed they had heard racial abuse, reported it and Chelsea had done nothing? They'd have been crucified. They were in a no win position.

Apologies, Ramires, you are right. The guy on the radio said Chelsea officals asked him 3 times if he was sure what he'd heard and he said he was each time and that they had no choice but to proceed under those circumstances.

actually having just listened to a report on this you cant blame Chelsea and i actually have some sympathy for them as they were in an impossible positon. They had to act on what one of their employees told them. It would have looked 100 times worse if Mikel had claimed he had been racially abused and they'd not reported it, especially in view of everything else that has gone one recently with them. I'm no fan of Chelsea but i dont see what else they could have done.

Maybe they are jealous and wishing they came from a tropical island with a wonderful climate in the carribean or a beauiful and histroical country like India which is home to one of the seven wonders of the world and full of incredible amounts of natural resources, rather than a wet and dreary island? Again, people can spin this to be negative but they could simply be wishing they could go to where they came from. Im not condoning their jealousy spinning out of control, but this is what it could mean, could it?
