  1. Id recommend buying some fat percentage monitors. You can buy scales that will give you it or a handheld device fairly cheaply and although they are not 100% accurate I tend to find they are a lot more accurate than BMI for people like us. BMI doesn't take into account your build and body shape, muscle mass etc so as I said earlier, things like if you have done or do lots of weights will give you a higher BMI than someone who is fatter but has less muscle, don't forget muscle is 3 times heavier than fat.
  2. He has the advantage that every Southampton player has through that they are guranteed to improve.
  3. I decided to have a day off yesterday as I need to do some stuff at home, lots going on at the moment! apologies if it didn't meet your approval. I'm glad Guly managed to meet the aproval of your six year old though, did you you discipline him and tell him not to Talk such nonsense? I did watch it on a stream though and like most of the players he was okay in the first half and poor in the second. As for a puncheon being more effective yesterday are you sure? Didn't 3 of the 5 goals come down the right hand side with Pucheon was no where to be seen?
  4. Can you tell at what point he says it's a great idea not to tell anyone who is injured, I must have missed it. Thanks. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2257039/Wayne-Rooney-injury-latest-Manchester-United-striker-miss-Liverpool.html Although having revealed Rooney will be out for two weeks it looks like Man U won't be winning another game for a while. Put your money on Man City for the title and Liverpool to thrash the next week as Bredan Rogers will know not to prepare for Rooney. What an idiot, he obviously hasn't got a clue what he's doing.
  5. Cork got absolutely destroyed at right back and was missed in midfield. Don't play him there again.
  6. And their support was terrible as well and they won.
  7. True, he's young and guranteed to improve.
  8. Come on Barry, your stalking is wierd. Other people have pointed it out to you, why do do it?
  9. Yep, and that we have zero strength in depth. At the end we had on 2 17 year olds, Cork out of position, Guly who was awful and our subs were average championship players.
  10. Almost as interesting as following someone about and commenting on every post they make. Proper weird arent you.
  11. Why does everyone keep going on about our confidence being f*cked. How about looking at it th other way that some players will be out to put this right and have a point to prove next week.
  12. How's that working out for Ryan Smith?
  13. MLG I think you need to read up on what Alex Ferguson says about how he prepares for games fella. I'll rather listen to the way he does it and ex pros i know than how you do it on football manger thanks all the same.
  14. But Martin is young and guranteed to improve isn't he? All our young players are.
  15. Quite. I find it hilarious that people like MLG think it's brilliant because it means they won't know how to prepare for us. A mate of mine used to play at Saints in the 90s and even back then they'd have dossiers full of info on every player in the squad. To use the reasoning that they won't known how to defend against us or prepare for us if they don't know who is playing is pathetic. They'll know everything about everyone of our players. Do people seriously think Premier league managers and coaches only prepare for one set of players and tactics in the run up to a game, are completely unable to change them and know absolutely nothing about anyone else other than are likely starting XI?
  16. Do you want to give them the Fratton End then? To be fair they probably do outnumber you these days.
  17. Ahh of Course. You're both right. Its only possible to prepare for one scenario, for one likely line up and for one set of tactics and players. During the game or even when the teams are announced an hour before kick off it is completely impossible to adapt your tactics and strategies to fit any unexpected changes. I'm stunned mangers haven't worked this out yet. Make one unexpected change every week to completely fool the opposition as they won't be tactically aware, prepared or able to adapt their tactics whatsoever. It is a guaranteed way to win every week. It worked so well for us when Mayuka ran riot against Sunderland, based on previous team selection they'd have had no idea he was playing or how to deal with him.
  18. So you think because they aren't sure if a player of ours is injured or not they would have no idea at all how to defend against us? How to set themselves up to defend set pieces. Is this what you really think?
  19. Because they were so original. 'your grounds too big for you' 'here there they're every f*cking where, empty seats' 'here for the Chelsea' 'play up Pompey' 'Small town in Portmsouth' 'is there a fire drill' Never heard any of them before. All atmospheres are sh*t now. That is modern football for you. Don't you dare stand, don't you dare say anything nasty, don't you dare have a couple of beers before hand.
  20. Do you really believe this is true?
  21. Listing a random amount of games and wetting yourself over them. Why 7? Why not the next two or four or six? As it happens 4 of those games are winnable anyway.
  22. Yes. Losing at home to the European champions without 4 of our best players on the first Saturday in January in a different competition will definitely mean we will be relegated in May.
  23. i love these threads.
  24. Never a pen. Flick up on the edge of area, Davis cheated it away, ref gives pen. Awful decision.
  25. Clearly off the chest. terrible decision.
