  1. Great comparison.
  2. That's your view and your entitled to it. However Some of us don't particularly like our own players coming out in the national press and saying they are too good for us and want to leave, we dont consider that to be respectful and if truth be told, he mugged us off by doing that. If you're happy for them to do that and think that is going about things the right way then it's a rather distorted view. IMO of course.
  3. Yep, if he ever goes back to Bologna as a visiting player Id expect him to get some abuse too.
  4. What about that interview he gave before he left? Basically saying he wanted to leave, he was now too good for us. That is unforgivable IMO. If you want to go fair enough, few could blame him, but to engineer your move via the media is disgraceful.
  5. It's a little worrying that we are potentially looking at out of contract players to 'do a job' in a sticky plaster type way when its clear Nige wanted 2 if not 3 defenders further to Clyne all summer and all we managed to get was one in, who is a gamble, right at the end of the window. Defence is one place we can't take chances and we need a solid back four. It was quite clear last season that we struggled at times defensively and gave away lots of sloppy goals. We've already been punished in all 3 games this season for the same type of errors with the same players making the same mistakes.
  6. No it's against their human rights and FC and saintandy will be along to bore us with all the nonsense behind it in a bit. If they want to spend their dole money on smack and booze then that's fine as they are creating job. Without them there would be lots of government workers made redundant with no dole office and job centre and no drug unit within the old bill. I anything unemployment and drug taking should be encouraged as it creates jobs in the public sector. As most dealers drive expensive cars also think of the additional revenue generated via fuel duty when they fill up their cars.
  7. Jon Mensah would be an intelligent signing.
  8. He's only staying loyal to our championship players, like you said we should. Does this not go for the manager as well?
  9. You soound like the Louis Walsh of spazboards sir.
  10. You know it's true Jamie. We'llbe told Adkins was out of his depth, no club has ever stayed up losing their first 4/5/6 games etc. his tactics were exposed against the top clubs etc. Cortese was right to act. In Cortese we trust, he's not got anything wrong so far and so on. Love the way people sneer at Pardew despite taking us from minus 10 and having to build a team during the season, winning our first trophy in 34 years. All based on what might have been going on based on some totally unsubstantiated rumours.
  11. Ennios? Excellent, again more than 50 quid though. If you join delicious dining online though you can get a loyalty card which gives you discount there and a few other places in Hampshire.
  12. You look like the sort of bloke who would know a good Vegan menu when he sees one.
  13. Brasserie Blanc in Winch is decent too. Again going to cost more than 50 sheets.
  14. Quite. You're looking for least double for a 'top' restaurant. And forget about wine as well as a decent one will cost you north of £25 sheets. This place is alright if you want to spend a bit more though. http://www.lortolan.com/
  15. As I and others said many times when AOC was here the player you saw terrifying with pace and claiming he had an amazing football brain was terrifying league one players like the mighty Gary Borrowdale of Oldham, big difference to playing full international players. Many wouldn't have it though, oh no, AOC was amazing,if he was good against Gary Borrowdale he'd be good against premier league players, if you're a good player it doesn't matter who the opponent is, we were told. Therefore I don't understand why AOC isn't tearing teams apart at international level like he did to Wallsall and Dagenham. It's doesnt matter who the opposition is, and in any case, we've been told many times you get more time on the ball the higheR up you go weve been told on here loads of times, so he should be p*ssing it now, surely?
  16. Wasn't there a thread on this a while back where a few of us said he was good and everyone else said he was a wan*ker, boring and sh*t? Amazing what a few nice words about Saints can do.
  17. We should definitely disregard this article as it doesn't say Ramriez is the best player to ever appear in a Uruguay shirt and Southamptons incredible chairman Nicola Cortese has pulled off the signing of the decade getting him to join. This article is clearly lies written by a lazy jounrnalist with an anti Saints agenda.
  18. Don't disagree with that. Just find it a bit wierd that you complain about our signings then say you'd rather take an in experIenced and unproven striker at premier league level over a full international from a top nation who is regarded as one of the best young players in Serie A.
  19. Am I on ignore? I had no idea!!
  20. So what's the difference between having inexperienced players up front and inexperience players at the back? Can Hooliveld, Fonte and fox not do a job? why Is Sharp able to but those not?
  21. THe trouble is loads of people just bite and start name calling rather than questioning his, clearly WUM views. It's pretty clear he constantly contradicts himself and talks bo*llocks to get a reaction, which evidently works.
  22. Yet you'd keep Sharp who isn't an established premier league player, over full internationals from top 5 national sides? Very Lowe like.
  23. Do to clarfify you'd rather we'd kept a player who has only played as a sub once in the premier league over a full international for a top 5 national side?
  24. Which wuold you rather? New signings to strength the squad or be loyal to the ones we've got?
  25. Twitte is an exellent stalking tool for people obsessed by celebrities and wanting an insight into their lives. It's the next best thing to actually following people around in person and the added bonus that it's only slightly less wierd. There are few things that fascinate me more than reading about Richard Chaplows dinner, if it wasnt for twittet if have to stare through rhe window in his house for hours to find this info out. For those of us like myself and Blakey that heart celebrities, are obsessed by them and just love knowing what they are up to its like a dream come true. Only ignorant people that aren't stalkers don't like it.
