That is why we tried to sign at least 3 other centre backs first and didn't sign him permenantly in August when we could have and instead waited for the window to shut and get him on loan, it was all some cunning plan to leave us with only two fit centre backs for the first month of the season and prove how great NA and NC are at signing who we want when we want. it makes perfect sense.

If he was why try and sign the others first and why not try and get him in during the window rather than in on loan? It worked out but it we got him because we didn't get our first three targets for whatever reason and it was a gamble because he hadn't exactly been a roaring success at Celtic had he?

the other problem with retraining is the low wage you'll inveitable have to endure when you do get a job. It's all very well all the "follow your dreams" nonsense but you also have to earn a reasonable amount to have any decent standard of living in this country. No ones going to pay you any decent amount of money when it's your first job in that field and you're still learning. Personally i'd rather have a job i didn't like that enabled me to have a decent life style rather than one i loved but meant i had to live in a council flat and couldnt pay the bills. Work is a means to an end. And enjoy your job is also down to mindset. If your constantly dreaming of what might have been and whinging about how sh*t it is then you wont enjoy it.
