Good, good. We have someone on hand to go to the bar for us whilst you bite at the other 5% of things i say xxx
-
Why? DId they want to sign Jack Colback?
-
So abusive. If you dont like it put me on ignore, either that or go an bosh one out and get that frustration out of your systems. It really is very simple.
-
Did he ever actually join us? I remember an article about it two or three months ago in some foreign paper but cant remember anything from the club. He isn't listed on club staff list on the OS either.
-
An orphan actually, who sits on his own at football matches.
-
Okay then, if that is what i am that is what i am, think what you like.

I've not mentioned Wesley Sneijder before. I didn't realise he was a realistic signing until the mail said about his bird wanting to be an English speaking TV presenter. We hold all the aces on this deal fellow posters.
-
Do your boring posts never cease? They aren't even remotely interesting.

Wesley Sneijder seems to be stalling on his move to man United, rumour is he has another offer on the table from an unnamed English club. According to the Mail today his wife holds the key to the club he choses. She wants to get into English language TV presenting and we'd be the ideal club for this with Meridian studios in Whiteley, plus we all know how good the shopping in West Quay. I think she'd be very happy in Southampton and Wes has every reason to join us. Sounds like it's ours to lose.

I'm with Jamie on Rhodes and can't believe I forgot him an excellent striker who is young and talented.

Saints vs Saints (St Gallen) tonight
Turkish replied to Ivan Katalinic's 'tache's topic in The Saints
If only we'd signed Antonio. -
And people like you are the reason i dont bother anymore, the know it all posters such as yourself, this post being a classic example. A post assuming i have never seen any of these players play and just plucked a few names out of the air by looking at Arsenal and Chelsea squad. Jumping into a discussion with their arrogant and patronising i know it all attitude. Chez asked who are in the boundaries of the sort of player we should be looking at, i answered. Regardless of if they are non starters as per your comment re Sharpe and Maynard, turning 30 this season or eyeing a move to the premier league. These are the level and type of player we should be looking at. Not premier league players and England internationals or championship reserve team players. Want to tell us who you think we should be interested in so we can rip your potential signings apart?
-
Because the planks on here with their endless sh*t drive me nuts

Jack Cork was on my wish list earlier this summer. He is the sort of player we should be looking at young and hungry. Lucas Jutkeiwicz would be worth a look. Other players i'd be interested in if i was Nige are Alex Smithies & Joe Lewis in goal. Peter Clarke from Huddersfield at the back, although this would depend on the progress of Martin and the legs of Jaidi, a loan might be better (see below) Sharp and Maynard are two strikers i'd be interested in and it seems we are although how much mileage are in these we dont know. I'd also like to see us look at good young players on loan, from Arsenal Lansbury would be a good option to have, Frimpong and Craig Eastmond are good players who we may get on loan. From Chelsea Patrick van Aanholt & Jeffrey Bruma, both on loan at Leciester last season and dutch u21 players. Either would be a good option at the back if it's a season too far for Jaidi. A lot depends for us this season on the legs & fitness of Connolly & Jaidi. Only they and Nige know how their bodies and how well they'll hold up. Therefore it might be next season before we push the boat out to replace them. All players that are realistic and would improve the team and squad. I dont think we need major surgery, just prehaps a couple of quality additions, be that permenants or loans. As i say, i am leaning towards a couple of season long loans and see where Jaidi and Conolly take us, if they stay fit they are already top half Championship players. Certainly no room in my squad for Reading reserves that had a couple of good games for us against midtable league one sides.

Correct, check the above posts, all the reasons to sign him are direct reasons given by other posters on here, utter nonsense. The "despite" reasons are facts.
-
I am afraid on this forum if you dont toe the party line or conform to the popular view then you are ostracisted. Look at the abuse i am getting at the moment on the main board for not understanding why people are on hold for 90 minutes and queuing for 3 hours for something that will still be on sale 3 weeks time and for challenging people on the reasons why we should resign Antonio. This forum is great as long as you dont speak out against or dare to question the clueless majority.

I've just had a look at that online application. One of the application questions was something along the lines of "are you a drug trafficer or coming into the country to commit criminal or immoral acts?" F*cking lol!!! It seems you're alright as long as you haven't been sentanced to over five years in the nic or have been done for serious crimes such as drugs, rape, murder, manslaughter, being a peado or fraud related things.

You dont understand Stevo, Saintsweb has spoken. We should bring him back because some on here like him. Despite him not getting near the first team of our rivals this season. Despite his end product being awful. Depsite him being linked with moves to league 2 clubs. Depsite him coming here and probably being 4th or 5th choice and we are looking to improve the team not add to the squad. Yet despite all this we should bring him back. Because he is a great option, afterall he'd cause Man United and Arsenal problems if he played against them wouldn't he, they'd change their game plan because of a player from Reading reserves apparantly. Because a better player kept him out of Readings team last season. Because he is young. Because he scored a goal once in a cup final against a midtable L1 side. Dont forget, many on here felt he was better than Puncheon this time last year. They know it all dont they.
-
Strange spin on the arguement considering one player was already playing for a championship side so if good enough would have played for them, surely. Whilst the others have just been promoted to the championship from the league below and are about to get their chance to prove their ability at this level.
-
Please explain how Patric Evra and Manchester United would adapt their game to defend against a championship reserve team player.
-
The irony is that far better players have been dismissed as not good enough and if we were linked with any other reserve player from a championship club there would be uproar with everyone screaming we had no ambition. Because it's a player that was an okayish squad player 2 years ago in league one apparantly he is good enough to cause Man United problems. Mental.
-
The fact that newly promoted to LEAGUE 2 Crawley are interested should be a signal that CHAMPIONSHIP Southampton should not be. Maybe????
-
So let me get this straight. You saw him play and he was playing against a team worse than he would have faced when at Saints. Played worse than at Saints and we now playing at a higher level, yet you'd love to have him back? Please explain the logic in this.
