  1. That is all the work of everyones favourtie internet fattie and Russell Grant lookalike Romsey Stu. I kid you not.
  2. My biggest gripe is the Old bill. At the last game they were loving the attention, almost desperate for it to kick off. They made a documentry about it, had a film crew following them round of the day and practically created a flash point by letting both set of fans out at the same time. We then had the self congratulations and back slapping at Banging up a few fall guys and get a few easy stats on their figures who got a year in jail for little more than shouting and rattling fences. Meanwhile justifying their clueless tactics and doing what every other police force in the country does at derby games by saying it was breach of human rights to keep the away fans in. Fast forward 20 months or so and it now not a breach of human rights to tell fans they can only travel to the game by the w ay they have decided and if they don't like it tough sh*t. Only at football would they get away with it.
  3. I'm sure you'll be able to find him filling his face before, during and after the game at one of the kiosks.
  4. Their catchment area really isn't that big and nothing like ours. Remember that imaginary line that was mentioned a while back? Our catchment area is massive and goes all the way to London up to North Wales and includes all of the West Country, Wales, and large Cities like Cardiff and Bristol. Theirs includes mostly rural areas like the Yorkshire dales and cumbria. THey also compete with Leeds, Newcastle and Sunderland, historically bigger and more successful clubs. For a city of that size given the competition, they do very well for crowds.
  5. Would it have been a bit like this?? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jh3bX5wA63s&NR=1
  6. That Boro forum has an anti Saints agenda. Boro have always been bitter against Saints ever since we beat them to the signing of Kevin Phillips in 2003. You wont expect a balanced view on a forum which has such a deep seated hatred towards us. They will also be bitterly jealous that despite recently winning the carling cup and reaching the UEFA cup final we are much better positioned now than they could ever dream of every being for an assault on the champions league places. Dont expect anything else from a bitter, twisted and agenda driven fanbase.
  7. Add to this we have had some tough away games recently and our next 4 are against Pompey and the current bottom three we have a great chance to get 10-12 points on the board plus hopefully continue our incredible home form, where quite simple we look invicible.
  8. Urban legend says they played there c88. Any of you lot there by any chance? What was it like?
  9. Not at all, just a rumour.
  10. If not they should. They should also only be given seats in the back row, to given them exercise by getting up the stairs to their seat and also to discourage them from going down at half time to feed their fat, vile faces with food they don't need.
  11. No because that was against the Best team in Europe but this was quality. I did have a LOL moment after the first goal some Mong behind me was screaming at Hammond I think to get t forward and "stop messing about with it" cue a great ball out to Butterfield a superb cross and Gulys header for 1-0. Turned round and said "that's why we don't play f*cking long ball" he didn't say much for the rest of the game.
  12. They played really well at the Joiners in C88.
  13. i'm going on the sunday as well. £55 wasn't to bad a price IMO considering the demand there was for tickets. Really looking forward to it. Love them, love Ian Brown.
  14. Yes,in my top 5 as well. Although worse than this is singing local rivals songs like when the mugs sang "Liverpool" when we played Man u and while back and "i'm forever blowing bubbles" against Millwall this season
  15. Do you mean like the Southampton supporting Wayne Bridge? THe Sunderland Support Jordan Henderson? The Everton supporting Wayne Rooney? The West Ham supporting Joe Cole? The Leeds supporting Alan Smith? These sort of players that are youth products of the teams they grew up supporting and lived in the local area all their lives and have such a deep affiliation with the club. Yep, that affiliation counted for a lot when they got offered better deals.
  16. I think you have competition for the fan on the board role. At least he sings.
  17. We aim to please. I dont think i will ever recover from such a slur on my character as this though Scotty.
  18. Yeah he did.
  19. Please explain how shouting Pork, is "having a laugh".
  20. Dorkish? That's brilliant that East Bender, with that sort of wit you're wasted on a football forum. WHy dont you become a football agent and change their reputation for good? Make it your mission to Convince all players to stay with the clubs that they grow up with and promote the local area to them as reason to stay. You'll have plenty of clients, i mean for every MLT there are 10 Kenwyne Jones. Desperate for someone to guide them and remind them just how good they've got it right now. There is no need for the extra £30k a week when you've got Ocean Village on your door step.
  21. You'll never make our fan on the board if you don't sing the cortese song Um. He watches out for these things you know. You need to have a rethink about your values sir.
  22. This could be the ideal opporunity to get the much requested "wheels on the bus" song going. Are we will be both on Niges bus and literally on a bus. I'll lead the singing at Fratton park with my "i heart Cortese" vest over my hooded top and Saints shirt.
  23. I disagree. These people are funny, proper characters. The sort of people who cant walk past a pair of glasses without trying them on and looking round at everyone.
  24. I bet Alan Shearer, Wayne Bridge, Mark Wright, Neil Ruddock and co all still regret the day they took a better pay day elsewhere and couldn't spend their sundays in Lyndhurst tea shops.
  25. Why do we need to? We have been told in the past on here that when we are playing in the champions league with a team full of academy graduates they will all be here fulfilling their dream of playing for SFC with their mates. New signing will come here because Portswood first school is amoungst the best in Hampshire. Their wives and girlfriends will enjoy shopping at West Quay. They can go for strolls and cream teas in New Forest on sundays. It isn't all about money you know.
