I agree with you there mate, one of the strangest decisions of the season. We were comfortable at 1-0, they hardly threatened and Fox was playing well. Really dont understand what the reasoning behind that substitution was.

De Ridder aint exactly great. The point is that he's proven to be a lot more effective than De Ridder but one is a hero and the other is regularly slated. The only reason i can think of is that one runs around a lot and achieves f*ck all and the other doesn't. Anyway, dont want to turn this into another Guly thread. This is about what a great signing Fox has been.

I wondered how long it would take. Harding benefits from a lot of Saints fans prerequieste beliefs that a player that runs around a lot automatically makes him great. Look at the hero worship De Ridder gets despite his contribution this season being one goal against Reading and the odd 10 minutes here and there. Compare that to Guly and the slating he gets despite being 1,000 times more effective.

3 assists on saturday which now puts him on 13 and above Frazer Richardson who the echo were hailing on friday as some sort of creative genius. It's great that we have two superb attacking full backs like this. Compare his stats to Hardings, who has managed just one assis. IN fact Fox has more assists in his 25 games for us than Harding has in his entire time at Saints according to ESPN stats. What with him being much better defensively than Harding as well, what a great signing he is turning out to be, a real key man for us. No, we should stick with real food as this could provide a cunning double to assist with the long queues at half time. If anyone gets a bit peckish could nibble at their food based insult prop. That would humilate the opposition even more, imagine having a half eaten hog dog waved at you with some crazy f*cker singing "USA" at you, if you're club is owned by an American. Or a half eaten nam bread dipped in Chicken dupiaza being waved agressively at you if you're a Blackburn fan, "here to go to Kutis, you're only here to go to Kutis" Plus it would give some outstanding advertising for local businesses. The possibilities are endless.

I really like the idea of everyone waving pieces of toast at the Pimpey fans. That would be hilarious and really intimidate them. It would be great if they show the game on the telly as well as i whole country would be LOLing along with us at our wit and humour. This could be the start of a great food insult pheonemon at St Marys if we get promoted. Next season we could all wave prawn sandwiches at Man United fans, Hot dogs at American owned clubs like Liverpool and Villa & plates of curry at Blackburns fans for their owners. Along with our ingenius "look like a wotsit" song for any ginger player there really is no end to the fun we can have with food related insults.

He'd probably been warned about how our fans write players off after one game and over analyse everything they do. It would make anyone nervous.
