Harwood-Bellis will be as we've got an agreement to sign him if we go up. Downes might stay, so that's 4, possibly 5 of out best 10 starting outfield players wont be here next season. Possibly another 8 squad players. Stop altering facts
-
Why are you ignoring loans? That's 5 players that will have spent the season learning Russball, who wont be here. So in addition to the players you mentionWe'll also lose Harwood-Bellis, Frazer, Downes, Holgate, McCarathy and Adam out of contract along with S Armstrong So a minimum of 5 from the first team so half the outfield players wont be here, 10 from the squad, possibly 13, so the only one peddling myths is you
-
Just you wait until those last nine games when we go on a run to just miss out on the play offs. Then next season when all our decent players leave we’ll have another 10 new signings that will take 37 games to learn Russball

it's the dullest most boring way to do it though isnt it. Very saints.

Personally i'd rather not go up than go up as runners up.

Good run of form or Martins methods taking hold? I like Martin a lot as a bloke, comes across well, talks very well, seems authentic, but midtable finishes at both clubs he's been at is hardly a ringing endorsement. I hope we go on a great run and go up, i hope everything works out and i really hope we can keep the better players in the squad. Time will tell but if we dont go up this or next season he wont be here, i'd pretty much guarentee it.

Saw some woman who looked in her 60s moaning on a facebook group she applied but never heard anymore. I'd have though this would have been the perfect person who would have lapped it all up and not asked any tough questions

What’s interesting is that it takes time but nothing to back this up. As He has two years a piece at MK Dons and Swansea when they got to know his way of playing and hit the heady heights of 13th and 10th respectively he left. So just as we start to see his philosophy manifest itself he leaves the club. Where could he have taken those clubs if he’d stayed? Who knows. What we do know is that there is pretty good chance we won’t find our here either

be interesting to see how our plays cope with the venom and hated they will encounter when they enter the fray on saturday. Lets hope they dont do this in from of the DEF or the very least the tigers can expect is a giant foam hand wrapped round their cannister

I went to the game at Old Trafford v North Macedonia and the atmosphere was pretty decent even though we were in the family stand with a mate and kids. It became a bit like a friendly when England scored the 5th but Jack Grealish entrance as a sub prompted 2/3s of the ground to start singing "Jack Grealish, he's still on the piss" much the boys amusement. I doubt you'd get that at Wembley.

Thanks for passing by Sue!

“Very very soon” which means it’s not as close as my next cup of tea, but closer to happening that this thread which 11 year ago predicted a stadium expansion soon

All the names you mention were the old days before we became smarter than every other club.

If it's anything like the last 20 or so visits there by the DEF I suspect Millwall will retain their hide and seek gold medal.

he's got a point, just because you dont like it. Wonder if it was just coincidence that the Brussells shoot was carried out this week when the guy has been living there since 2019? Start of new global run of terror attacks in protest at the Israeli bombing of Gaza? Likely i'll say.

Love stories like this. Thanks i used to be mates with a lad who was captain of England U16s and on saints books in the 90s. He was tipped to be a future star. Due to a a management change at saints he was released at the end of his first pro contact, ended up at Fulham before they had big money, got released by them when Keegan came in the ended up dropping down the leagues went to aldershot ending up playing for AFC Wimbledon in the very early days before quitting football going into a career in Technology. when I was a kid there were some quality players at our age group, our school team went 3 years unbeaten winning everything and had players on saints and Pompey books. None of them made it past 16 before being released while there were other kids from the area who went onto play pro football in what is now leagues one and two that would have struggled to get into our school team if they’d been at our school. Having played at a decent level as a kid knew quite a lot about players and clubs at the time and some of it is luck, face fitting and being in the right place at the right time but a lot of it is how much you want it. Doing the things that others won’t, living a complete sportsman life rather than being the one who is not disciplined off the pitch as they look at that as much as what talent you’ve got on it completely different level but we try and drill that into the kids I coach now not just for their football but their life. You train how you play. If you turn up for training not listening, not being arsed because it’s too cold or wet, want to get home and go on your Xbox that’s how you’ll play when the going gets tough and that’s what you’ll end up doing in life.

3 Sweden fans shot by a Tunisian illegal immigrant in Brussells. -
He was mental. had a few other cracking threads as well. One of them whilst trying to justify Portsmouths sub 10k attendances during the 80s & 90s he claimed a lot of people from Portsmouth were watching Solent stars basketball team at that time 🤣

Part of Greater Portsmouth so yes.

this reminded me of this glorious thread from years ago on the ugly inside where our then resident skate complied a list of hampshires best footballers. it was an attempt to prove that that Portsmouth produces better players than Southampton. What he failed to take into account was several factors like just playing for Portsmouth doesn't mean you were born in Hampshire, to be one of hampshires best players you have to be from Hampshire, not London, Surrey or Sussex. He also ended up looking rather silly with his made up Greater Portsmouth region, which appeared to cover everything from Fareham to Kent up to North London, yet wouldn't include Botley, Netley or Winchester as part of greater Southampton despite it having an SO postcode. it was rather amusing at the time in the days when the TUI was a good site Forum | Hampshire's greatest footballers by 130yrs_and_one_Cup | The Ugly Inside (fansnetwork.co.uk)

been at it all over the forum. Sue Whistle made a completely unprovoked attack on a few posters on the Hull match thread, including me, using her range of abusive swear words and i hadn't even posted on the thread apart from to correct someone of the score the last time we played at Hull. When i pulled her up on it both posts disappeared even though hers had been on there for a few days.

SA v France has started unbelievably too

Imagine if your son brought that home. You’d be devastated.

Think we spoke about this A while ago. I Played there at the start of the year. In reception are framed shirts from clubs who have stayed there. Including a saints shirt, the red cortese one which was the highest selling all red kit in China ever or something. Very nice hotel and course
