  1. There was a picture of him on Facebook recently he’s still about but when I left Southampton in 2013 hadn’t seen him for years bang bang was still about back then but not sure if he still is forkeye was on countdown recently!
  2. Any recent sightings of southampton legends? The laughing **** sorry if it offends some but that was his name back in the day bang bang phil forkeye dougal king of the Milton many others?
  3. Doesn’t Chorley now do some weird porn show? McMillan popped up again recently in the echo something about taxi drivers i don’t mind Nick, he’s the best of them and at least he genuinely does love the club and would do anything for the fans, whereas the others I felt just loved the limelight
  4. Took the Den pal? Not many people can claim that. Good on you. Doing us proud. A father and son team strolling around unchallenged in their end taking liberties. another reason why the DEF are so feared even our families supporters are tougher than their hardcore. 👏👏👏👏
  5. I think millwall will be there for the taking on Saturday. The south london hard men will be in hiding in fear of a confrontation with the DEF, maybe a few will give it large from the safety of their home areas but roared on by a large and vociferous away following from behind the goal we will crush any enthusiasm they have off the pitch. it’s then on the pitch that our lads need to deliver. Sap the life out of their initial aggression and watch the lions turn into pussy cats as the lads on the pitch match the ferocity of the travelling army

if he does back one over the other that’s fair enough, whelk has been pretty open in his view and whilst not everyone agrees with it he’s at least said why he think that way. I haven’t looked properly but the only thing I can find or remember is a few days after the Hamas initially killed the Israelis his missus asked him who the bad guys were and he said they both are, that’s as close as we’ve got to any condemnation of any acts by Hamas, like I say I hope there are more I’ve missed them.

Just an observation. Despite you claiming to be unbiased and favouring neither side I’ve not seen a single post supporting/concerned for Israel since this all started. Lots of the usual “I read somewhere” comments about Jews, denials of antisemitism and criticism of others for not caring about dead Muslims but little to nothing in the way of the balanced view you purport. Perhaps I’ve missed them, I hope I have but I think the nearest we got to balance was when you had to tell Mrs Sog who the baddies were when it first kicked off.

We know that. has there been anything new come out so far? They were laughing at everyone. They were incompetent, arrogant and breaking their own rules.

You’re saying it like it’s news. We knew all this already lets remember there were a lot of people who despite being anti Tory were fully behind what they were telling, following in the science and people who said otherwise were sneered at
  11. Like anything “bad” now and again that won’t hurt enjoy a pasty once a month. That’s completely different. What reason could there Possibly be for anyone to swap a natural food like meat for a man made substitute?
  12. A comfortable victory on and off the pitch as usual
  13. Fantastic! Another chance to have serious conversations about LGBT rights by highly paid celebrities whilst they take Saudis coin.

Completely agree about allowing protests it’s part of a democracy and should be allowed regardless of if we agree with them or not. However we also have to acknowledge that these will be sort of things will be jumped on by those with agendas not to be peaceful and it’s the responsibility of the protesters to call these types out if they genuinely want them to remain peaceful. as for sog, difficult to ignore his views when he’s been repeatedly outspoken for years about labelling people whose views don’t align with his own, now he’s whinging about getting one himself. Reap what you sow.

the problem with these protests is it will always attract the nutters who take things too far, whatever group it is, we’ve seen it from all sides of the argument and it does more harm than good but depending on what narrative you want to believe you’ll side with the one which suits you. The problem with Sog making any point on labelling is that he’s a hypocrite as he’s the first one to label someone racist, right wing, etc when they don’t line up with his viewpoint. I’m sure he’s referring to himself being called an antisemite but this goes back a lot further than his comments on this thread. A history of strange posts regarding Jews going back years have led to that. He may be right about it but when it comes from the mouth of the biggest hypocrite on here it’s a bit rich and carries little credence

What particular values of yours are they at odds with?

Its a valid point. What’s the cut off line? The BLM protests were described as “largely peaceful” because the mantra was we had to support the cause even though there were over 200 arrests and plenty of video evidence of large scale disorder. so how many people does it take to make a peaceful protest a violent one? How many nutter who will blow innocent people up does it take to make a peaceful religion a violent one?
  18. What could be more healthy than meat? Something made in a laboratory from a load of chemicals to look like meat. It’s like saying going on sunbeds is more healthy than being outside in the fresh air. Insane 🤣🤣
  19. Why would a meat eater want to try a meat replacement that was made in a factory? Do you not understand how mental that is?
  20. Except that’s not true play offs first season, automatic promotion second. He got sacked in December the follow season when they struggled a bit but overall that’s hardly a terrible job

    Flynn Downes

Like Fraser he’s hardly played for a year going to take a bit of time time for them to get back into the groove. Both of them will play a bit part for us this season, Downes looks like one of the best players in the league now which we hoped he would be. hopefully Stewart will be as good as we hoped and Harwood-bellis is potentially the best central defender in the league, that’s a decent spine something we’ve lacked for years
  23. Didnt he also score both goals in the 2-1 away win at Millwall the year we got got fa cup final? I always liked Oakley too, I guess some of us look at the game differently to others
  24. He’s similar to ward-Prowse in that he’s a neat and tidy player but not spectacular. These sort of players aren’t fans favourites but the sort every team needs see also Gareth Barry, James Milner, our own Steven Davis. Fans want players that dribble and shoot, crunch into tackles, run around a lot and show pashun! I don’t mind Smallbone, I don’t think he’s great but he does a job and I can see why Martin likes him
  25. Man United fans about this time of the season when they realise once again how far they are behind the top 3-4
