This endless circular discussion is pretty pointless as TV is going to push forward with this whatever. the point about Trevor Steven and the bird who also won the fa cup is a good one, but as we’ve seen when it’s good how great the womens game is is rammed down our throat, anything negative and it’s a different game that can’t be compared to the mens. As for commentary/pundits I’d take Alex Scott and Gabby Logan over 95% of blokes and I think Karen Carney, what’s her name Dalglish and Alex wood were also very good. Can’t remember the names of the others but a few have been absolute car crash and a few been okay. So not much different to the blokes. It's become a bit of a joke in our house whenever there is a new drama on TV. There is always at least one white, one black, one Asian, one disabled and one gay or trans, often a couple. It's like playing diversity bingo. It's not a problem but it's funny to see them all pop up right on cue.

Just been to a commercial gym for the first time in a while. The amount of people that are out of shape and don’t have a clue what they’re doing was incredible. Pull ups with not even half a full rep, squats barely breaking half way, deadlifts in the smiths machine FFS! And of course the lads doing weights far too heavy with terrible form then walking round like they’re Arnie why aren’t the instructors going around telling people what they’re doing is a waste of time? CrossFit has made me realise how much I know compared to the average gym goer. Honestly it was staggering
