  1. Everton are absolutely shite. Taken 40 minutes to get their first shot away at Doncaster, look awful. If they stay up this season it’ll be a miracle you’d have to be nuts to go there
  2. Get it done good deal
  3. Agreed great signing, winner, been there done it in the championship and great prospect. Hopefully we’ve got an option to buy if we get promoted. He was always my preferred choice but thought he’d go to the premier league given he’s proven he can do it in the championship
  4. Always, do You know how funny this is when you (and soggy) respond to pretty much every post I make and posts made by other people about me. It’s not all about me but you and soggy seem to only post on here about me. It’s not my fault you both have a very strange fixation it’s all rather creepy what a prick

    Che Adams

great at getting onto the green by 4 putts every hole. Make of that what you will
  6. Strap in hypo, the next couple of days are going to CRAZY. Keep refreshing this forum for all the latest clues, rumours, catchphrases and world class banter.

    Che Adams

My source said Che still hadn't popped his Cherry. Make of that what you will.
  8. as mentioned, the club are concerned about what gets into the public domain, which is why despite the criticism we have received we are adhering to the clubs guidelines by not saying too much until we can. Those sharper ones amongst you will have noticed on of our senior members posted last week where they said they hoped the next Stewart that joins us was a bigger success than the last, Stuart Ripley. A clear nod to the current transfer situation.
  9. ignore the click bait, this came from a VERY reliable source.
  10. my sources tell me we have had a bid rejected for mr Stewart and are going back. Sunderland will want to sign a replacement before they sell
  11. I think he's done the right thing, if players are wanting moves away or kicking up a fuss then focus on the players that want to be here and going to play. Clearly if moves dont happen then they'll have to both reassess their stances and probably be reintroduced to the group but for now if they aren't going to be here by saturday morning it makes sense to keep them apart, especially as we have a big squad.
  12. Pleased to be of service. 👍
  13. it's not like the French to disapear when the going gets tough
  14. It wont be the CoT as we've been criticised for not sharing our information on the open forum despite some people being very angry about it. Loose lips sink ships is our motto. 👼
  15. thats interesting because when i was putting Harpic down the bogs i noticed a folded post it note on the floor which must have fallen out of Jases pocket when he did a dump, what was on it was VERY interesting. I'm assuming none of you want to know as you all hate the CoT so much.
  16. How are Sunderland financially? Given they made the play offs last season you'd think they'll be targeting that this season so wont want to sell to a rival for one of those slots. Although Stewart only having a year left on his deal complicates things for them. This one wont be easy to so, expect we are going to have to pay them an inflated price for the reason above despite his current injury. Sunderland will probably be thinking if he'd stayed fit they could well have gone up last season
  17. It's difficult though. I coach it myself. Its only now we are getting to U11s level we've actually got a team of players that want to be there. For the first few years it was because their older brother or sister played in an older age group, made to go by the their parents, parents who think their kid can barely run properly is the new Messi, some even used us for cheap child care whilst they cleared off for the morning. We used to have rolling subs as they promote equal game time so we'd have kids during games run off to the park or play with dogs and not want to come on. A lot of that lot didn't want to learn skills but you have to treat them all equally so cant be favouring the ones that want to be there helping them develop and ignore the ones that dont. That's why we've encouraged the more interested ones to do stuff outside of the club if they want to develop. Plus grassroots coaches are generally just parents who have done a course, you cant expect them to teach kids the things they learn from proper coaching. luckily our age group i the other coach both played at a decent level but some of the other ages groups openly admit they dont know anything about football really.
  18. Mods are power crazed oddballs, the sort of people who become PCSOs and football referees. I will continue to moderate the mods and call out their dictatorial behaviour.
  19. It's not like we'll miss Mara though. Who much has he played this season? I can only remember one sub appearance.
  20. Yes exactly that, i can well imagine him going into a pro club and coaching a load of senior players the way he does wouldn't go down well. It's brilliant for kids for learning how to control, pass, move, manipulate the ball, use both feet - they are big on that. At grassroots level you can tell the ones that have been going, our lads first touch is excellent, we get loads of comments from other teams on how comfortable our players look on the ball whatever the conditions.
  21. cheers, will take a look, love stuff like this.
  22. Guys, please keep this thread on topic, this is meant to be transfer window off topic stuff, if you want to talk about wars then there are threads on the lounge you can join. Sick of all these threads being derailed. I came onto this thread hoping for some more catchphrases, clues to signings, abuse from jealous individuals outside of the CoT and world class bantz and you lot are rambling on about wars.
  23. Yes it’s Simon Clifford. My son attends a football school twice a week he set up, it’s not run by him anymore as he’s handed the reigns over to another guy who he mentored, I assume he is still an owner though as it’s big in our area so turning over quite a bit of cash. Clifford is now running a thing called Integer which is based more around football fitness, diet and more aimed at the teenagers upwards. cannot fault the football school though, my son has been doing it for about 18 months. it’s all based on touch and control. There are four from his grassroots team that go and they are technically head and shoulders above the other players in the team. Quite a few kids from the area have gone onto play at a very high level that have been through it including Archie Gray who is now at Leeds. He has two younger bothers currently in the school who the coaches believe will be even better. clifford is by all accounts a bit of a knob but can’t fault his methods for kids. it would work well at the clubs young academy levels but I think if he went in and told older players what to do he’d soon get shot down.
