A real lack of people’s stories about what they are doing today at our gym we did a mixed sex partner workout, 3 deadlifts, 6 ring dips 9 burpees as many times through as possible in 20 minutes. My partner was a lovely lady who smashed it. We had a photo taken as a group after to celebrate equality. We didn’t do the muggy gesture though

The United Kingdom and the Death of Boris Johnson as we know it.
Turkish replied to CB Fry's topic in The Lounge
but they have pledged to give £600m to help girls get access to sport, off the back of a strongly worded letter from the lionesses. -
you dont need to do that, some women have a cock and balls, some men have periods.

this is powerful

including all those with a penis or have decided they are women for the day today, or where yesterday but will go back to being a women tomorrow, or those that used to be men but are now women. Today we are #embracequality and celebrating equality by giving them their own day. IWD: International Women's Day 2023 campaign theme: #EmbraceEquity (internationalwomensday.com) If you see lots of people doing this today you'll know why, it's this years #breakthebias gesture, so powerful. How are you challenging gender bias and stereotypes today?

No one said they were a hoax, however some people said there was a lot of scaremongering about it for something that was little more than a cold you can see it on this thread from about page 174 onwards, funny looking back. It seems like there was indeed a lot of intentional scaremongering about it and a lot of you lapped it up, anyone who disagreed was a thick cunt. 🤣

Seems like "Little and large" might have had a point afterall. But then i wouldn't expect anything better from you.

Seems like the science was ignored because it would make the government look bad. Seems like the intention was to scare the public about Omicron. Seems like some of the lunatics conspiracy theorists might not have been so mad after all. But then the new mantra is that this useless tories who handled the pandemic so badly were damned if they do damned if they dont, afterall no one had seen anything like this before.
-
Interesting new “revelation” this morning that Hancock didn’t follow the science in 2020 as it would look bad on the government….
-
don’t forget he spent a lot of the pandemic shagging his mistress as well.

I don’t remember too many people saying this at the time. What I remember is widespread criticism of everything they did. I don’t remember too many people cutting them any slack saying it’s no one alive had seen anything like this. It was endless criticism. Look further up this thread, it’s all there. The temperature seems to have changed a bit now doesn’t it.

This is what people seem to be struggling with. The players that will leave will be the decent ones, Walker Peters, Ward Prowse, Lavia etc the ones left won’t be good enough for the premier league and on too much money for other championship club. So we’ll be stuck with deadwood rather than able to shift it. The idea that all these players thst got us relegated will be snapped up by others is laughable. Having spent years trying to shift a load of deadwood we’ve now lumbered ourselves with a shit load of new ones
-
Funny how those now saying the government were damned if they did and damned were the same ones very very critical of the governments handling of it all at the time. Constantly slating them for not doing this that and the other. Funny how the tables have turned now there are some things leaking that they don’t like.

He was good yesterday. He is so good at holding it up and bringing others into the game. When he’s got quicker mobile players off him he is at his best. The touch and pass for the goal yesterday was very good.

Well that’s another issue. 3 times we let players have free headers 6 yards out, luckily each time they fluffed on another day Baz is picking the ball out the net 3 times. That’s why I’m still not buying into Bednarek had a good game and being commanding. He did his usual disappearing act when a half decent cross came in. He was okay for the rest of the game but you can’t be good for 89 minutes and switch off to leave a premier league striker unmarked in the six yard box too often and get away with it. It was very much a typical Bednarek performance, okay for most of it but lapses in concentration which luckily didn’t cost us this week
-
It didn’t get in the players face, he missed the ball and luckily for us the players free header was about 6 inches too high. If it had gone in he’d have been rightly criticised for poor goalkeeping, just because it missed doesn’t mean it was a great decision, it was an error and very fortunately not a costly one.
-
I’m not really sure how in any world the best thing to do is to flap at a cross in the last minute of injury time and leave a player with an open goal six yards out.
-
Ineacho missed two free header in the centre of goal from 6 yards out A chance when Bazunu kicked it right to him unmarked on the edge of the area hit the bar from a free header after Bazunu throwing himself at the ball and missing We got lucky really as their finishing was shit and so was our defending on the flip side of Alcarez had been sent of which he could have been we might have had the advantage of playing most of the game with 10 men
-
It isn’t ridiculous it right. He made two terrible mistakes and Leicester missed about 4 golden chances. He didn’t have a lot to do but he didn’t do what he had to do very well
-
You don’t understand.
-
I’m sure someone will be along soon to tell us all we just don’t understand it all.

If he’s so nervous that it’s making him play crap then he shouldn’t be playing. I know Martin Semmens might spout crap about league positions don’t matter and this club is all about a pathway for young players but unfortunately it does matter and if a player isn’t up to it whatever the reason then they shouldn’t be playing, for our good as well as their own.

Take out Grimsby and he’s got a 66% win percentage
