  1. Hope they are Hunters
  2. I notice the red warning zone finishes at it gets close to Eton. Boris looking after his chums again. 🙄
  3. Yes i know, i'm taking the piss, that is what some bellends said.
  4. Remember a lot of people would come but because St Marys is usually near sell out they dont bother as they dont think they'll get a ticket. If we had a bigger stadium then they'd know they could so would come.
  5. That Devine fella has got a face you want to punch. Nothing new here, quite a dull watch to be honest.
  6. So what, Ipswich, despite being smaller than Southampton their record crowd is 6k higher. Also if our catchment area covers right up to north Hampshire, Dorset, wiltshire, Surrey, Sussex and so on why can’t they count All of east Anglia, Essex, Cambridgeshire, northants, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire etc? Surely same logic applies that a successful Ipswich team could attract fans from these areas. CB Fry has already covered Bristol, they won’t support a team in their own city because they all like Rugby but will support one 100 miles away. Hilarious stuff
  7. Actually my cousin lives in Wrexham and her kids could potentially have been saints fans instead of Liverpool if we had a stadium as big as Anfield
  8. Ah yes the old dynamic pricing model. That was genius. Wasn’t also a Ryanair model suggested? People get a seat but if they want to go for piss it’s an extra fiver, use the stairs £3, sit with their mate, £20 please etc. brilliant ideas
  9. So what? Ipswich were a premier league side not long ago, Bristol is a bigger city than Southampton and Plymouth is similar. People have said with success and a big stadium then we could get 45,000, if we can why can’t they?
  10. Was called out here weeks ago. Annoying that the athletic have grassed it up though. Although I’m sure other clubs didn’t miss the fact the players were taking in gels etc.
  11. Has anyone considered that we could fill a bigger stadium if we reduced ticket prices to £10 and have more tickets to away fans? We’d also make a fortune from additional hot dog sales
  12. We have one of the biggest cities in the world just over an hour away which has 6 premier league clubs, 3 of them part of the supposed big 6, plus to our right we have a city that have it inbred in them too hate us, then 30 miles further down the coast another premier league club, below us is the sea. The massive area which could be transformed into a hotbed of Saints fans if only we stuck 10,000 extra seats on top of St Marys isn't quite as big as you seem to think. If it's just a case of building a big stadium because you've got not many other clubs round you why haven't Bristol City or Rovers, Norwich, Ipswich, Plymouth or even frigging Yeovil become massive, they've all got tonnes of people living near them and no other premier league club near them too.
  13. and then south is the sea, unlike a lot of clubs half of our catchment area is the ocean, Leicester is being pointed to as what could be, yet funnily enough Leicester is pretty much in the middle of the country, not right on the sea.
  14. Typical that the worst storm in years is here under this bloody government and since we left the EU. Bloody tories. Bloody Johnson.
  15. I meant to be driving down to Bournemouth for the weekend on friday 😞
  16. As a wiseman once said....... I hear there are massive ranks of Saints fans in Hereford, Gloucester, Cirencester, Weston Supermare and Shrewsbury who would come to St Marys if only it was bigger.
  17. Yes it was something like that, then a few years later they said to expand to 42k it would cost almost the same as the stadium again at £3k a seat. Hindsight is a great thing and maybe we should have gone 40k then. However I do remember at the time though most people thoughts 32k was about right and we might struggle to fill it.
  18. and kids lap it up. A friends sons mate is a youtuber for Minecraft, he has over 3m followers and is a millionaire from it. He is by all accounts a nice chap and when he found out my son watches him he sent some of his merchandise in the post. Made a millionaire by kids watching him play a game they play. In some ways it beggars belief but also you think fair play to them from taking advantage of. We also know of a girl in her mid thirties who gets paid and gets lots of free meals and drinks because she has an instagram account which is her going out for meals all the time, she's a pretty average looking, quite dull early middle aged women, but slap a dress on, show her with a photo with a plate of food in front of her and it seems some people cant get enough of it.
  19. That was a great game, we were a brilliant team that season. That Rideout miss at the end was terrible, it was right in front of me and seem to remember him somehow putting it wide from almost on the goal line and then falling over. I also remember a game against them a season or so earlier when Kevin Sheedy scored a brilliant goal from about 30 yards out, game finished 1-1. Also remember beating them 1-0 at the Dell in the game after Dave Jones had been give leave and the Everton fans in the corner were singing "wheres your peadophile" Everton was also my first game, 1985, the century game when they were league champions. Of course we lost 2-3 with Glen Cockrill scoring early on and Steve Moran scoring in front of us in the Milton. Heroic failure which has been the theme of my saints supporting career.
  20. that isnt what they said.
  21. I agree, i cannot see any similarity between to you and two former users, completely different posting styles, views & opinions, any similarities are pure coincidence, just like how you joined the forum just after a former poster had left, another coincidence. It's mental to think that in 100,000 odd Saints fans there wouldn't be two who share the same opinions on things.
  22. Knowing our luck we’ll get Chelsea in the final and he’ll be ineligible
  23. It was when we stopped agreeing to let players leave that things started going down the shitter. When Les was here I think he even branded us a shop window club, Mane, Van Dijk etc knew if they came here and performed they’d get a big move that’s how it’s going to be. Hardly any kid outside of Southampton grows up dreaming of playing for us, so if we can get too young players by telling them they’ll play and if they do well they’ll get a big move then bring it on, brilliant. Bigger clubs than us do that so no shame In it.
  24. I’m on a WhatsApp group which includes 4 Man U fans who every week were demanding Ole be sacked, now they’re bemoaning what Ralf Raniek has done to Man United 🤣🤣🤣
  25. It’s nothing more complicated than regularly exposing you as a lying hypocrite soggy, that’s all. I doubt Jamie would have met you, given you rarely step out of Romney Marsh. i see you’ve forgotten that you’ve got me on ignore again 🤣🤣🤣
