I dont see too many Spurs fans still claiming they got the better end of Hojbjerg v KWP transfer. The fella they brought on for the not so great Dane looks miles better and did more in 30 seconds than Hojbjerg did the entire game. Wont be long before he's bench warming reminiscing of the time when he was the best in the premier league at post humiliating defeat interview rallying calls.

Another shit show from the Albanian Jordan Rhodes. Missed 3 sitters, collapsed on the floor like baby when someone finally actually put a challenge in on him. It's alright strutting around thinking you're gods gift when no defenders are near you but toughen up man FFS. Finally managed to score a tap in my nan couldn't miss and celebrated like he'd just scored to winner in a world cup final. The more he plays the more his many weaknesses are being exposed. Poor finisher, weak, crap in the air, deceptively slow, he was so bad i was pleased when Shane Long came on.

May have been but didn't see him on the telly.
-
Yes, he gives us drive and direct running from midfield, something no one else really gives us. Such a good player.
-
that and Walker Peters playing more regularly and Perrard getting up to speed. Two good full backs there. No way does Livramento get back into the team at the moment, as great a prospect as he is

Conte was being a helmet, celebrated the goal a bit over the top but fair enough, saints players were round the ref appealing and he was making finger to the mouth gestures to them, look like someone on the saints bench reacted and he did the classic hold me back thing of moving forward to the saints bench knowing full well about 5 of his team and the officials would have got in the way. No chance some soppy italian with hair implants is going to be taken seriously when it goes off.

it wasn't early in the sequence of moves, they literally scored because they won the ball back with a foul, 5 touches and 10 seconds later it was in the back of the net. In fairness it was a good goal and a good move but it doesn't happen if the ref gives a foul, so beyond me how they can say it was too early.
-
So VAR didn’t award a free kick for a foul on Broja because of came too early in the move? Jesus wept, they scored because of the foul. FFS what a farce
-
Me too, i've ever seen us be shit and lose at Spurs so would have been great to be there, probably the first game i wished i'd been at for a while to be honest if for no other reason than to throw the ball back onto the pitch.

cUnacceptable inconsistency and appalling standard of referees

yep, games should have been stopped on two counts, a clear foul, absolutely went through the back of Broja, two hands on his neck, Salisu was penalised a few minutes earlier for a slight nudge no where near as obvious, then for the head injury. -

I thought that, although he got two big decisions wrong with the foul on Broja and penalty (what is and isn't handball these days) that is what VAR is there for so joint blame on that. It was all the little decisions he gave Spurs way, a few times throw ins, free kicks etc he gave to them or lots of them. -
The only negative point for me. Proper embarrassing bantersauraus type behaviour.

Best game for us, deserves his goal. Everyone one of them bloody brilliant

Fabulous!

Get in!

Two hands in the back of his neck, blatant foul, unbelievable
-
Hojbjerg career at spurs is over then the new bloke has done more in 30 seconds than he’s done all night
-
Yep that’s the problem, conte will sort them out at half time
-
Brilliant first half right up to the point of sticking it in the net.

Osvaldo didn't exactly quit. after a load of loan spells whilst with us he played 7 games for Porto before he signed for Boca and was sacked after falling out with the manager after being caught smoking in the dressing room.
-
He was 71 when he retired! He'd also changed his mind about retiring in 2001 when he announced he would go at the end of that season, 11 years before he actually did. So no, he didnt quit because he had enough money. Poor old MLG cant think of a single example 😂

ah the old "out of context" get out clause. 😂

The United Kingdom and the Death of Boris Johnson as we know it.
