  1. They didn’t say it was.
  2. Indeed who knows #noholdsbarred
  3. And wisely doesn’t mean doing stuff on the cheap. Tried that screwed us
  4. Quite. People are moaning about how shit our squad is, overloaded with mediocre players not doing very much. Now people are worried that if we sign a much better player and pay them more the same load of shite will ask for a payrise!
  5. What are you going on about? All we've been linked with so far are free transfers and loans, aside from this Polish reserve keeper from Fiorentina. Hardly "no holds barred"
  6. My favourite one was the window after we sold Van Dijk, repeatedly linked with a number of very good players, we ended up with Carillo with Les saying how tough it was to get that deal done. Probably because they just have thought the fee we offered was a wind up.
  7. Are we only in the market for free transfers and loans? That's all we seem to be be linked with #noholdsbarred
  8. We just sacked one.
  9. Glad it was all because of labour. So when there is bad news it's all the fault of the bloody tories, when there is good news it's all inspite of the bloody tories
  10. If Newcastle want him he'll obviously go there over us. But you make good points in your other post and view is similar to mine that we've been paying dross good money to do nothing and just because one player comes in on good money it doesn't mean automatically everyone else is going to get or even demand rises. One good play for £120k a week that plays every week or two crap ones on £60k a week that contribute little. It's a no brainer.
  11. what does that mean?
  12. anyone got anything positive to say about the cost of living package? is it the just the bloody tories looking after their own again?
  13. Thats just remind me, how is it going giving parts of your salary away to help others with the cost of living crisis?
  14. So with the season over, the launch of Rainbow Saints and the rainbow shirt do we all feel that football is a safer place for LGBTs than it was this time last year?
  15. Yeah but we are also meant to be shifting Forster, Long, Walcott, potentially Stephens and Bednarek and possibly Elyanossi and Djenepo off the wage bill. That's getting on for £400k a week right there. Get your point but you want quality you've got to pay for it. We've spent five years or so paying relatively big money for crap players. If Bednarek doesn't like it that he's not earning as much as a significantly better player then let him find a better deal elsewhere. A core of quality players we want to keep with a few young one of high potnetial blended with squad players is far better than paying a load of crap players £60k a week when they're not even making the squad.
  16. £120k a week with no transfer fee is the same as £48k a week with a £15m transfer fee. The latter being about wht we spend on players under Goa. Tarkowski would fix our issues at centre back. Proper defender, proven premier league experience.
  17. which proves his point that he votes for who benefits his family most. In any case you are talking about someone else, there is no similarity between Alex and Dull Days whatsoever. I dont know why anyone would think they were the same person.
  18. there is a balance though. Walcott did okay in his loan season, but his game is based around pace, so foolish to sign an aging player when their main attribute declines rapidly once they get into their 30's. If we were to sign a 30 year old centre half that's a very different story. Gary Cahill is another one who would have been a good signing three years ago for not a big fee (maybe even free i think) and been ideal to play alongside a younger centre half for a couple of years, but we were smarter than that.
  19. Same, that's how it should be as well. i fully supported Labour under Tony Blair at first, but Labour with Corbyn in charge at the last election, do me a favour. How could anyone support him?
  20. Coming from someone who pretended they spent years of their career prosecting all sorts of high level criminal cases but it turned out you were an admintrator at the CJS that's a bit rich pal.
  21. cheers, happy with that, looks a very good player.
  22. Is that the James Garner they are talking about been really good at Forest this season on loan from Man United?
  23. I'm still waiting for the stadium expansion he assured us was going to happen "soon" back in 2011.
  24. they've even said they wont be "Kraft said: "We will be an active and engaged owner, but we will not be starting any revolutions."We were attracted to Southampton because it is already a well-run club that follows a clearly defined strategy.
