  1. im sure this discussion never happened but even if it did glad to see that you've let one wallies view on the value of bread or even covid get in the way of your crusade to get a few people you dont know on a football forum to vote labour at the next election.
  2. When you're regularly scoring 20+ goals a season you can do what you want IMO. Unfortunately we dont have a player who can score half that.
  3. Yes that was a quality goal, first season at St Marys. Lost 2-1 IIRC Another opposition goal that stands out in my mind is this one from Kevin Sheedy on 1 minute on the below video. Again there have been better goals but although i hated Everton at the time for obvious reasons i was a big fan of Kevin Sheedy, cracking player.
  4. Isn't it just. Funny how they're almost pretending none of that ever happened.
  5. These stick in my mind. I think I’ve seen better individual goals but don’t think I’ve ever seen two in the same game by the same player as good especially as I was right behind the goal for them all
  6. Lots of backslapping for Jeremy Hunt in parliament.
  7. 45p tax threshold down to £125k. Bet quite a few on here are effected by that.
  8. He hasn't wowed me but then none of them have, we've been crap all season. BUt we are unquestionably a better team when hes in it. I think we look more powerful and better balanced when he's in the side. of our six draws and wins he's started 4, in the others he came on as sub after an hour v Chelsea, and scored to start our comeback v Leeds He's only started in 3 of our 9 losses. Trying doesnt equal running around a lot, sometimes its also about holding your position and doing a job for the team. I like him.
  9. A bit like Guly yes? Fans didn't rate him because he was lazy and jogged around. GIve me Steeeeeeve De Ridder every day. The facts dont lie, we're a better team when he's in it. Plus he's also our joint 2nd highest goalscorer, not much of an achievemet i know
  10. Aribo has something. The problem he has is that he has a very laid back manner on the pitch, he's been accused over never sprinting or running, but he's an intelligent player and we are a better team when hes on the pitch. In our 6 best results this season (ie games we have lost) he's started in 4 of them and come on as sub for 30 minutes in the other two, in one of those matches scored the first goal that saw us come from 2-0 down to draw with Leeds. Of our nine defeats i think he's only started in 3 of them.
  11. Hasnt the Broja link only come about because the Albania national manager says it was better for him last season because he was playing more?

  14. Can you believe he’s still only 29. a loan to the end of the season might be a sensible move for all parties. When fit he’s definitely an upgrade on what we’ve got
  15. If you identify with the gender of your birth you now refer to yourself as cisgender I believe
  16. He's perfect for us then
  17. on the news whenever there is a government related issue how they find some randomers and interview them about their own personal situation and ask them what the government should be doing about it, with the answer always being "it's not fair, i've got (insert random problem) and we need more help" Like the government should have a specific policy because Jean from Basildon has varicose veins and needs a heater on her legs every evening.
  18. so it feels like being on death row today waiting for Jeremy Hunts statement......

  20. I think my favourite was the one on the lounge when the poster who is a cyclist rode past a group of blokes criticising Brexit, he rode past an hour later and they were still there still criticising Brexit and the Tories. two things here for him to hear their conversation clearly enough they must have been talking very loudly and he must have been cycling very slowly.
  21. Exactly. Like a lot of big companies they’ll do it when it suits them or to jump on the bandwagon and be seen to so the right thing then stop when it doesn’t. Why should we make a stand for LGBTs if it impacts profits?
  22. That's one thing Stephens isn't. Stephens best games have been when he comes back into the side after being out for a few games, there have been so many false dawns like this, he comes in has a couple of good games but then quickly reverts to type with poor decision making, sloppy play and error prone. It's been that way the whole time he's been a first team squad member unfortunately.
  23. from what?
  24. Removing the rights of LGBT workers on that specific flight. Not hard to work out really is it.
  25. why do you think?
