  1. Yorkshire people are a funny bunch, i know i've lived here for 8 years. I'm sure her English is much nicer than most of them, I still have no idea what they're on about when they go on about go down the ginnel, nowt like a proper brew, fair t middlein or i'm nithered. No surprise they ask her where she's from I dont think it's racist, more of a compliment.
  2. that's you that is. No one has said racism doesn't exist and no one has said (apart from you) that they know better than everyone else. The whole discussion have been about if taking the knee is causing division and if there are better/more effective methods of anti racism gestures. It seems of the two biggest cheerleaders aintforever has said the players only do it because others do and dont give a shit anyway. You have have been reduced to "well it isn't doing harm, just ignore it" line. It kind of suggests when even you two who have been the loudest applauding from the sidelines since the start are making these assessments that it really isn't that effective. Although amusing to see once again you completely fail to comprehend the discussion.
  3. Just trying to play the "everyones so thick" card as usual. Although now he's admitted the players probably dont give a shit then it kind of pisses all over his entire stance.
  4. No you're right, it was something to do with a police issue which meant they couldn't be in the corner, either segregation or where they come out when they get outside the stadium.
  5. Hang on a minute, you were full of gushing praise for how great it was that the lads took the knee when it all started, now you're saying in reality they dont give a shit and just do what everyone else does. Only a few posts ago you were saying millionaire footballers wouldn't do anything if they didn't want to as they hold all the aces!!! All over the place, yet again, come on, do the "you're so thick" line
  6. oh we're off back down the everyone else is thick route are we?!!! Okay as you're struggling i'll spell it out. As it's the players decision and they are no way influenced by their clubs or the PL, why didn't the none English premier league players take the knee at the Euros? Given it's their own choice and all that.
  7. Are you going to give your view on why the none English players didn't take the knee at the Euros if they are so behind it, as you claim they are

I watched a bit of the Levante game and he wasn't as bad as i remembered, but still looked no where near a player that should be in a premier league squad.

You know it'll happen. Remember when they tried getting the Kelvin, Steven Davis one going? Lets hope he goes to Palace.

Elyanoussi is on there, £60k a week. More money down the drain but with McCarthy, Forster and Long out of contract next summer that will be some more big wages gone

Just don’t let his missus go near any mobile phone shops in town
  13. So who are the other two? My guess is one loan and one permanent. AOC on loan with a defender/defensive midfielder on a permanent deal. Although we also need cover at left back, unless the new lad will play there or right back and move KWP across?

Not a done deal if paper works and medical not yet done. Although sounds promising.
  15. Tella will get a lot of game time this season, He can play in 3 or 4 positions so signing him wont harm Tellas development. We need to accept that for a club like us with our financial constraints the loan market is a usual method to bring in a player we usually wouldn't be able to sign. Okay it's short term but the reality is that the young players behind the first team are no where near good enough. If we can bring in a player or two on loan as a short term fix to a, help the first team b, give the younger players here more time to develop and c, not saddle ourselves with crap players on high salaries again then i'm all for it. It's not ideal but we arent in an ideal situation.

You'd think not, as i posted about he's supposedly on £14k a week at Blackburn. Adams on £42k with us, so he'll likely treble his money. It also seems with Ings, Lemina, Hoedt, Bertrand and Gunn we're saving over £300k a week in wages. Although only Walcott has been added to the list of new signings. Cant imagine any of them are on that much though. It'll come down if he wants us or Palace by the looks of it.
  17. I really like the sound of this kid. Hopefully we can get an option to buy as part of the deal.
  18. Now we have even more reason to ask when the away fans will be moved to the corner!

Hes supposedly on £14k a week at Blackburn. What do you reckon we'll give him? Same source says Adams is on £42k a week. Interesting reading as it also says Redmond is on £85k a week and now Ings has gone our highest paid player. Obviously take these things with a pinch of salt. He's probably trying to sabotage the deal right now getting Sam to tell him how nasty Hassenhuttl is.
  24. Why didn't any of the none English players take the knee during the Euros if they are so much behind it?
