A jury should be impartial, regardless of what you think about the crime or individual that’s how the jury system works. It’s why they order media blackouts in some trials so the jury are not influenced by reporting.

I’m not talking bollocks, my initial point was he was always going to be found guilty as the jury will have preconceptions due the furore (that means public anger by the way) around it. The world was saying it was murder, the media were reporting it as murder, there were riots in the street condemning the murder. No one would not be influenced by that. It sounds like you would have needed your opinion changing if you'd been on the jury, you wouldn't have been completely impartial. Do you then think 12 randomly picked people who had seen the riots, seen the footage and had it drummed into them for a year that it was murdered by the entire world would have entered into the court room with a completely impartial view? It seems you wouldn't have.

Lots of uproar that this is going to make things change, the owners no longer welcome. I expect In a week it will have blown over and everyone will be talking about the incredible end to the season that only the premier league can provide with at least 4 clubs in the fight to finish fourth, what a league this is. The reality there isn’t much anyone can do to change anything with club owners, unless there is someone rich enough to buy a club you’re going to be stuck with what you’ve got or overseas ownership forever now. So no doubt we’ll see similar ridiculous ideas in a short while to make sure the big clubs get the biggest cut of anything available.
