  1. SA has c5% of the population having already had covid UK has c16%. In theory UK should have great natural immunity from previous covid waves. SA has c35% of the country double vaccinated UK has 81% with 48% now on their third jab. Uk should have higher immunity from vaccine also. so why would people infected in SA have mild symptoms due to these things but UK won’t? I believe it’s what some might say, is not rocket science.
  2. SA is about 10% smaller in population than the UK but has had 7m less infections. They also only have around 35% of the population double vaccinated. So why would it be different here? More than 3 times the infections and a far higher vaccination take up. If anything it should be even more mild than there. Simple logic tells you that
  3. So why would that be the case on SA but not the UK?
  4. havent they removed natural immunity as part of their covid passport? also according to this omicron avoids natural immunity https://www.imperial.ac.uk/news/232698/omicron-largely-evades-immunity-from-past/ making it up as they go
  5. If there are only 37k recorded omicron cases in the country in total which is what they are reporting then then the 67% growth isn’t that is it
  6. Don’t worry, I’m sure there will be some more omicron infections tomorrow
  7. Coming down and not doubling although they’ve stuck in the caveat that “experts believe real numbers to be much higher” 🤣🤣
  8. 12k omicron today, 10k yesterday apparently https://www.itv.com/news/2021-12-19/12000-new-omicron-cases-reported-in-uk-as-record-number-of-booster-jabs-given UK first detected a case on the 27th November we seem to be rather a long way behind!
  9. 82k infections today, third day of decline in a row. Thought it was meant to be doubling every other day?
  10. Red on review. Great game but If that’s a red so is Kanes. Kane has missed some sitters today
  11. What are the actual numbers?
  12. Three or four years ago they were talking about an additional 50,000 deaths due to a high flu infection year. Why weren’t they talking about Lockdown then?
  13. Anyone know the numbers of flu deaths and infections so far this winter?
  14. Some people get hit by cars, should we have winter driving bans because accidents are more likely in bad weather?
  15. Where do you think that myth perpetuates from? Could it be that all we hear about are daily infection rates, both in positive tests and in future modelling? Why do we never hear about hospitalisations or serious illness so we can draw a conclusion as to the efficacy of the vaccinations? Surely these are the figures that matter
  16. Why does anyone whose comments are not with the popular narrative “have an agenda”? Equally it could be said you have an agenda as you’re assuming she’d be much more likely to have far worsen symptoms without a vaccine when in reality universities were rife with covid this time last year with the vast majority still only having mild symptoms. But that doesn’t fit your agenda does it
  17. 200,000 cases a day. Hang on a sec she heard this number before…. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/world/2021/jul/18/uk-covid-cases-could-hit-200000-a-day-says-neil-ferguson-scientist-behind-lockdown-strategy-england Turns out once again it’s nonsense what a surprise. You can come out from Behind the sofa now https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2021/12/17/sajid-javids-200000-daily-omicron-cases-claim-no-longer-valid/ https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10323043/amp/Covid-cases-NOT-doubling-two-days.html
  18. Yes interesting isn’t it that despite the constant demands to protect the NHS from those above us none of their plans include increasing capacity. If we’re set for for all these deaths and hospitalisations why aren’t they spinning up nightingale hospitals again?
  19. Has she? I wasn’t aware, thanks for letting me know. You’re right I don’t think she’s mentioned it
  20. https://www.spectator.co.uk/article/my-twitter-conversation-with-the-chairman-of-the-sage-covid-modelling-committee 🤔
  21. They are decimated by injuries 10 first team players out and then Jack Harrison injured, had a 15 year old on the bench today.
  22. 85people in hospital in the whole of the UK with suspected Omicron. Up from 65 yesterday. 20 admissions not 2000 predicted
  23. And you’ve got the neck to call other people thick 🤣🤣
  24. It’s a great nickname, simple, accurate and 100% suits you. Better than calling people cunts which is your default setting when discussing anything
