Only areas badly lacking IMO is cover keeper and like for like cover for Pelle.

Not strictly Saints related but the S****horpe no1 broke his arm today and then his replacement somehow did the same. Ludicrously bad luck.

Not that it matters, but Forster at fault for the goal IMO. Consistently camps too deep in his box and has to be more decisive. The defenders know he doesn't come off his line so they don't want to take the chance of leaving it. Glad Gardos took responsibility, unlucky.

Ipswich game I think.

Brilliant. Huge week for us and have players possibly back for the next league game. Reed got better as game went on. Fonte quality. Gardos good too. Elia with two great goals and Pelle was top class tonight. How different would we be without him. He offers so much even when not scoring. Brilliant. Loads of teams say they have or want a "winning mentality" but we actually do.

No guarentee. He is never comfortable coming out to claim the ball and it was right at the top of the box. If Gardos made any mistake it was that he maybe could have hit it out for a corner where there was nobody in the way. Forster is never far enough off his line.

One of the best games I have seen JWP have. Imagine if we had Jay Rod playing with these guys. Him and Pelle would be lethal. Need to take the chances we get in the 2nd half.

Anything needing Forster to come off his line is a disaster waiting to happen.

To be fair Pelle and JWP linked up well and great run by Elia. Poor from Krul.

Scrappy so far. Hope we don't become a team that defends then tries to hit on the break. Badly miss Mane or someone to get close to Pelle. To me, a paceless guy with 60 apps and no goals shouldnt be the midfielder tasked with supporting the paceless lone striker.

A lot more space in front of our back four than usual but to be expected I guess. Nothing really happened yet.

Eriksen 88

Long out wide doesn't work and he has no composure to keep the ball. He is a better impact sub than starter IMO in the PL, especially away.

How long before the Kane or Eriksson deflected winner? I reckon 88mins.

More worried it is so lightweight rather than the possession element.

Lets hope Spurs don't get a winner or its a bad set of results.

Decent lineup with all the injuries and Long as an impact sub. Got to stop Sissoko and get into Cabella. Their defence is suspect.

Liverpool's form seems to be picking up a bit. When they get Sturridge back they can certainly still challenge for a top 4 place.

Of course. Just from what has been said by both so far. Boruc has no future here so a bit rich to suddenly beg him to come in and perform brilliantly. Also a proper kick in the teeth for our other keepers.
