So far Isgrove is 20 and never played a league game at pro level. At that age Sinclair had done far more and has a proven PL record earning himself a move to the Champions.

Pretty sure with Boruc they just wanted the other keepers to get game time as well and expect he will figure more heavily as we move towards the WBA game.

We look like we will sign a top drawer striker, and certainly need one. But if we get one then we have made three top signings who will all be first choice players. I doubt Chelsea, Arsenal or Man Utd will sign three players this summer that all go straight into the starting XI. We don't need full back cover or wingers IMO, and yes another CB would be good if possible.

Not sure, but quality over quantity any day of the week.

And really that would make a great window with the additional benefit of keeping Shaw and all our best players. Icing on the cake would be another CB, but if we do sign a top striker then we have significantly strengthened the spine of what was already a decent side.

I think some of those early goals were in a regional or lower level competition so slightly exagerate his goal ratio and would account for the decrease.

I understand this, but IMO these type of players will want European football. For someone like Damiao, Zenit would represent a better chance of being picked for Brazil. Just look at England's selection, European footy and the club you play for is valued above regular PL starts and goals.

Damiao is younger so probably more resale opportunity.

Interesting that he initially thought we wouldnt be able to sign Lovren, must rate him highly. Plus when Lovren spoke about targets he mentioned top 6 which presumably is what he has been told we want to do. Very tough to achieve, almost impossible with current team but might as well aim high.

Would have thought a striker. Top target in each position.
