Some games we can certainly play all 3. Would also be nice to have another tactical option later on in games.

Anyway, back to Wanyama... Good to get two players signed early, that will presumably go straight into our first XI. I think we are learning the lessons of last summer, definitely good to get players in to feature in at least some of the friendlies - especially with a decent run of fixtures at the start.

Just shows 1. How clueless a lot of people in football are about Saints (we have some excellent players) and 2. That we have signed a good player!

Good sign that Wanyama is certainly a first choice for us. Possibly Lovren was too, bodes well for other targets and shows we will only sign quality.

People always forget its a squad game, injuries, loss of form etc come about and it would be good to be able to rest players occassionally. All of Cork, Wanyama and Schneiderlin will start a lot of games.
