  1. Yeah Im not that bothered really, was a decent atmosphere yesterday and I could smell the smoke although couldnt see it from where I was. The lad behaviour does make me laugh though, especially the old guys. All part of footy I guess.
  2. Just lads on an away trip. Bantz.
  3. Indeed, how dare they. I wanted to sit in Silence like the Theatre.
  4. Quite possibly. So why do they need to act like cavemen too pushing people over seats etc. How does that add to the atmopshere? Bunch of wannabe Danny Dyer's IMO
  5. Most of the best away atmospheres this season and last have been based on good loud singing not barely visible smoke bombs and 'lads' falling over seats...
  6. What was the point of it then? Most of ours fans couldnt see it so it hardly improved the atmosphere? When you watch that video what do you see? I see a bunch of wallies tbh that I would not really like to be associated with! Personal opinion of course.
  7. You could barely see the smoke. Im sure Wigan fans were well impressed.
  8. You can create a cracking atmosphere without setting off an embarassment of a smoke bomb or falling over seats.
  9. Most of those were the ones causing trouble by that bridge after too, certainly the fatty in the red jacket. Pathetic really, sure at some point he will mouth off at the wrong person...
  10. Who knows but in a crucial moment your biggest CB should win those. Failure to do so led to the goal.
  11. Lol what a bunch of pikey knobs.
  12. For the second goal Scharner beat Hooiveld in the air. If we win that crucial header then the ball is going away from goal rather than towards.
  13. Key moments cost you. Yoshida and Hooiveld both lost key headers leading to both goals and Wigans only open play chance was as a result of Hooiveld leaving Di Santo just like he left Rooney at OT.
  14. Forren doesnt have an injury. MP said after the game today he is just having a period of acclimatisation/fitness building as he hasnt played since November. Norway game midweek will help him.
  15. End of the day Yoshida was poor for the first and if Jos wins the header for the second then no problem.
  16. Hs was a threat all day and well worth a starting place.
  17. Yeah I was at the game. Puncheon was our furthest forward player near the halfway line which was where JWP went to when he came on. The sub would have made zero difference to defending the corner as JWP wasnt marking anyone and in any case he then played the ball to JR who setup the goal. Strange thread but not suprised by this poster.
  18. It did lead to a goal....our goal FFS! Which the sub JWP played a key role in!
  19. I thought it was decent enough, maybe it was just a specific section you were in? Quite a weird ground though because the home fans so quiet.
  20. JWP assisted our goal so it didnt do any harm. Plus JWP came on for Puncheon and was the furthest forward player defending corners anyway so made absolutely no difference. Strange thread.
  21. Erm Villa drew and we are 3 points ahead of Wigan with a better team. Also wont need 40 points this year.
  22. On the way back, absolutely battered them 2nd half - great tactics and subs - two points dropped but a huge gulf in class between the teams today. Apart from set piece defending clearly.
  23. Was at the game today and he got the tactics spot on, good subs second half. Not his fault we didnt deal with basic set plays.
  24. Chaplow Fact: Chaplow's 'bite' is more powerful than that of a Great White Shark.
