I didnt mean for the club to go out of business, just the first team for this season. The U21s and U18s who are doing well should certainly continue.

Played at a poor level, coached at a poor level and watched football at all levels. Our defensive errors are individual - putting 5 at the back won't IMO make a difference. Very few teams play like that. You say Morgan and Davis don't defend so we dont need them - they will be better defensively than Ramirez and Lallana. Ramirez needs to play just off the striker like vs Villa. A structured 4-2-3-1 would work well.

Might seem radical, but should we ask the Premier League/FA if we can drop out the league for the rest of the season, and be inserted into the Championship next season? That way we would have approx 9 months to work on the training ground ahead of the start of next season, less chance of players getting injured and we could start afresh in August 2013 without the stigma of having been relegated? Of course some players might leave, but IMO it is the kind of radical action that NC need to take NOW if we are to trust him going forward? **Puts on tin hat**

So your midfield two would be Lallana and Ramirez, with three strikers/attackers ahead of them and you think this would help us concede less goals? Interesting idea, but IMO that would end up as a 5-5 formation where Yoshida would drop into the defence and Lallan and Ramirez would offer nothing defensively as well as restrict them from doing damage near to the opposition box. IMO Ramirez needs to play off one main frontman, either JR or RL.

For me Fox seems to lack the stamina to get forward and back at the rate required at this level. He isn't quick, which is fine, but when he moves forward it often takes him way too long to get back in position. This, and the fact he acts as a third centre back at times means he struggled to get out to close his man down. He is a weakness.

IMO we missed a trick with Sean Dyche going to Burnley.

Will those who clamoured for 4-4-2 now realise this won't work and that our best form this season has been with one up front plus one in the hole? IMO we have got worse the last few games which coincides with playing both of them. Even the first half vs West Ham we looked very comfortable with that extra midfield man, and obviously did well vs City, Utd and home to Villa with only one of them playing. When other teams setup in the 4-2-3-1 it is exactly that, two holders, three attacking midfielders and one forward. That is exactly how we were vs Villa.

For me, if Chappers is in the squad it highlights how weak we are. He isn't a Prem player and has no impact now when he does play. To those who say he provides bite I question what that really is? Does "bite" help you score or have any bearing on stopping goals?

When you look at Stoke's lineup their midfield is absolutely woeful. Unfortunately they have quality at CB (Huth, Shawcross) and CF (Crouch) which will see them do ok.

Thats the one, might have changed a bit since then - well worth a follow up visit and a trip to the Metalist Stadium.

They are the best we have for now. Boruc will be fine, Clyne is decent and Maya has been useful - remember he is still settling into the Prem. New Cb and LB in Jan clearly. Point is - Norwich or Reading couldn't field a front 6 like we can.

Thats due to personnel though - we can't magic a new LB.
