Was it low to his left? That's where he's weakest.
-
Cheers.

Who replaced him?

I've noticed it seems very difficult to get awarded penalties in the Championship - it's almost as if referees act the same as in the Prem where they can rely on VAR - without it few penalties get given.
-
Just letting them blow themselves out.
-
Slow start from us.
-
Think they've decided to kick us off the park. Need strong refereeing here.
-
Stephens and Charles can both play centre back or full back.
-
Good line up and very strong bench.
-
Why?

A few on here are likening him to Grealish who is a great player but not blessed with searing pace. Most of the really great players rely on skill rather than pace - accept that if you have both that is even better but Dibling seems to have the skills in his tool box to make up for any lack of pace.
-
Love the fact that Dibling shows the confidence to play cooly at the back so is involved there and then finds a pocket of space to receive the ball before making his brilliant driving run. This lad could be some player.

I seem to recall Burnley getting hammered 5-0 by Man City in the cup quarter final last season and they still finished top.

This should be another comfortable victory. The level of our football is proving simply too much for most teams in the Championship. Our lads must feel ten feet tall and full of confidence every time they cross the white line to go into battle. We've been through some rough times when we couldn't buy a win so I'm relishing it all the more.

Winning breeds winners and confidence. Keep beating whoever is put in front of us although admittedly this one may prove a step too far. We go there in a confident mind set so let's play relaxed football - we needn't worry about losing this game unlike Liverpool.

Eloquently put as always 🙂

Whilst the Bindippers won't be quaking in their boots at the prospect of facing us I am sure they'll have taken note of our unbeaten run and be aware this could be a potential banana skin for them. The bookies will rightly make them firm favourites but we can go to Anfield with nothing to lose and have a right good go at them because we have bigger fish to fry. Provided we start with a strong midfield including Downes and Smallbone we'll be more than capable of giving them plenty to think about and it will be very interesting to see how our risk reward strategy holds up against high quality opponents. Has the makings of a great game if we hold our nerve and play in a relaxed manner without fear. Let's get at them and give them a fright and spoil Klopp's leaving party.

Agree-after such a great run it would be easy for RM to take the soft option and duck out of handing out home truths. Glad that he's continually demanding there is no drop off in the high standards he sets and will call it out whenever he feels things are wrong. Keeps everyone on their toes and fully committed.

I'm glad they did.

I think it was a shrewd decision to start Downes and Smallbone in midfield as they act as our engine room. Ok, maybe some would call it a risk but it paid off with a comfortable win tonight while Leeds toil for an extra 30 minutes.

Dibling should take a lot of confidence from his driving run which led to the second goal.

Woop woop!

Very professional performance tonight. Winning the game at a stroll with zero dramas. Well done Saints!
