We won't.
-
We play out bravely from the back and take chances. What a shame that when we get the ball forward all that bravery and risk taking vanishes. It makes no sense to me.
-
Interesting angle on it and I do agree that the Ipswich manager is getting a lot out of what is perhaps marginally an inferior squad to ours so fair play to him.
-
We aren't quite good enough and today underlined that - just my take on it.
-
Irrespective of how good people think our players are the stark reality is that Leicester and Ipswich are teams who are far better than us. It's a shame because in other seasons our current points tally would put us right up there but these two teams are relentless.
-
Automatic promotion was long gone before this game. Let's be realistic here. It's a decent point towards the play-offs which is our level.
-
We weren't even before that equaliser. A draw is ok and keeps the run going. We're not catching Leicester or Ipswich.
-
You see this is what happens when somebody describes our keeper as world class. Inevitable.
-
That's against the rules.
-
Yes, need to go for a second and not sit back.
-
The goal machine strikes.
-
Do I detect an increased intent this half?
-
Hope our players were given a rocket man at half time.
-
Bottom line is we are securely in the play-off spots so not much to be gained by being so cautious and risk-adverse. RM is adamant we must take risks to play out from the back yet when the ball goes forward it seems we are not brave enough to try anything that might not come off. Take more risks to get the win.
-
We know RM won't change so probably more of the same second half. Think he needs to swap Alcaraz for Smallbone.
-
This smacks of an old style Saints performance where we rarely threaten and end up losing one nil.
-
Agree. Play-offs is our level.
-
Matters little because we're headed for the play-offs. Probably not quite good enough for the top two positions.
-
Leicester and Ipswich both winning.
-
Not a single shot in 30 minutes football...yawn.
-
Thanks sounds like a ding-dong, end to end thriller!
-
Judging by lack of comments assume the game is a non event.
-
Offset by the fact that they are without Jake Livermore.
-
Yes, Aribo came on and did great last week. Can he take his chance to shine today?
-
No Downes - must have picked up an injury. Going to be tough without him.
