  1. This should be another comfortable victory. The level of our football is proving simply too much for most teams in the Championship. Our lads must feel ten feet tall and full of confidence every time they cross the white line to go into battle. We've been through some rough times when we couldn't buy a win so I'm relishing it all the more.
  2. Winning breeds winners and confidence. Keep beating whoever is put in front of us although admittedly this one may prove a step too far. We go there in a confident mind set so let's play relaxed football - we needn't worry about losing this game unlike Liverpool.
  3. Eloquently put as always 🙂
  4. Whilst the Bindippers won't be quaking in their boots at the prospect of facing us I am sure they'll have taken note of our unbeaten run and be aware this could be a potential banana skin for them. The bookies will rightly make them firm favourites but we can go to Anfield with nothing to lose and have a right good go at them because we have bigger fish to fry. Provided we start with a strong midfield including Downes and Smallbone we'll be more than capable of giving them plenty to think about and it will be very interesting to see how our risk reward strategy holds up against high quality opponents. Has the makings of a great game if we hold our nerve and play in a relaxed manner without fear. Let's get at them and give them a fright and spoil Klopp's leaving party.
  5. Agree-after such a great run it would be easy for RM to take the soft option and duck out of handing out home truths. Glad that he's continually demanding there is no drop off in the high standards he sets and will call it out whenever he feels things are wrong. Keeps everyone on their toes and fully committed.
  6. I'm glad they did.
  7. I think it was a shrewd decision to start Downes and Smallbone in midfield as they act as our engine room. Ok, maybe some would call it a risk but it paid off with a comfortable win tonight while Leeds toil for an extra 30 minutes.
  8. Dibling should take a lot of confidence from his driving run which led to the second goal.
  9. Woop woop!
  10. Very professional performance tonight. Winning the game at a stroll with zero dramas. Well done Saints!
  11. Wakey wakey!
  12. Wanted to bump this to give a shout out to THB's superb range of passing. The ball to Fraser on Saturday that led to his back-heel to Arma was inch perfect. It's great for the team that he's got that in his locker especially with the clever runs made by the likes of RF and AA.
  13. I think Lumley is cup-tied because he played in the first match at Watford.
  14. Searched everywhere but can't find out whether Brooks is cup-tied. Guess we'll find out tomorrow when the squad is announced.
  15. If the club want to win this game we should be starting with a strong side, get the job done and then make subs. Start weak and we risk extra time and penalties which nobody wants.

    David Brooks

Think Dibling needs to play through the middle or not at all. He looked like a fish out of water on the right against Watford and couldn't do himself justice.
  17. Glad that's all sorted out then but you could have started with a spoiler alert - fair ruined the rest of this season for me.
  18. I'm struggling to understand how the final game at Elland Road negates 3 points for us unless you are assuming we'll lose even before we set foot on the pitch. A strange outlook considering how well we have been playing since September. It may turn out that you are spot on but let's at least play the game before writing off our chances.

    David Brooks

For this side to be performing as brilliantly as they are and then add a player like David Brooks is immense. How RM fits him into the team I have no clue but, with games coming thick and fast, Brooks will not be short of appearances. He adds an extra touch of class and quality to what is already a well-oiled machine. Really looking forward to seeing him start games and getting up to speed with how we play - not expecting that to take long as he is clearly a very clever footballer.
  20. Looking at the remaining fixtures you'd have to say Leeds have a favourable run-in as they only face ourselves and Leicester from the top six. We'll need to be right on our game to get across the line but we can certainly do it.
  21. Potential banana skin avoided. Box ticked and onto the next. The coming busy period will reveal how good we really are but, right now, I'd back us against any side home or away. The addition of Brooks has strengthened us and he'll certainly get game time during this run. If he plays well it will give RM a nice selection head ache. Right now our confidence going into games must be sky high and sometimes that is half the battle.
  22. POP!!!!!!!!!
  23. 51 points from 21 games is good going after our 4 straight defeats.
