  1. Negative starting line-up cost us I'm afraid. You have to go all out for these vital games and we didn't. West Ham were poor and Selles paid the price by giving them far too much respect. Think we could have nicked that with the right starting line up
  2. He's very poor and wouldn't get in any other team in the Prem.
  3. Our one hope is to get the next goal - not confident we will but, if we do, they'll get very nervous.
  4. Usual free header for their goal.
  5. Wonder how long they were kept waiting to see the triage nurse.
  6. Burnley finding out how much work they'll need to do in the next pre-season.
  7. Still get the feeling we are being coached too negatively. I get the sense that they are having drummed into them the importance of not making mistakes and the players are too scared to try anything risky but that changed today when we had two goals to claw back. It was like a switch had been flicked as we threw caution to the wind and went for it. Do that from the first whistle and we'll give ourselves more chance of winning games.

    Ruben Selles

He is badly let down by his inbuilt negativity and fear to set us up to start on the front foot and attack. We are poor defensively and always look better when the brake is taken off as it was today at 3-1 down to Spurs. This fear is what is killing us as a team. Ralph was largely the same after the scars of two 9-0 defeats.
  9. The only thing Moi did was give the team a massive lift when he went off.
  10. Lack of self belief and courage partly due to the way the manager sets us up and asks us to play. Too scared of conceding then, when we are 1 or 2 down we have no choice other than to play how we should play.
  11. He should smash all of them like that.
  12. Strange, we seemed to carry far more of a goal threat after Elyounoussi went off - coincidence I'm guessing.
  13. Battling point after being 3-1 down and after losing both our centre backs. Probably needed more but fair play for the come back. Nice to score twice from open play.
  14. Us, Bmuff and one other.
  15. Goal difference isn't going to be a factor for our relegation.
  16. Really, in that case why do his corners never generate any sort of panic in opposition defences? Why are they continually cleared with the minimum of fuss.?
  17. Another so called expert who is unable to see how bad JWP is at taking corners.
  18. Got to feel for our season ticket holders. Who'd want to have pre-paid and be having to watch this shit every other week?
  19. Zero shots on target in another must win game. FFS!
  20. The red zone makes about as much sense as the zonal marking we employ'
  21. He's not.
  22. It's beyond ridiculous because he offers nothing. And today we drop Alcaraz the only bloke who looks capable of scoring in open play.
  23. You think we play a pressing game? You're seeing something different from me. I would love us to play a proper pressing game but we don't - we play a slow build up that creates nothing. Get back to the high press.
  24. Not sure our poor home record has much to do with the fans. More likely it's caused by our inability to play against teams who employ a low block. We are incapable of breaking them down as we play far too slowly and mainly pass sideways and backwards. We then just get picked off on the break or concede from a set piece - it really is easy for away teams. Until we learn a system that works against a low block it will continue but not sure we have the players capable of doing it.
  25. One of our biggest problems is that we are hopeless against sides like Brentford who employ a low block. We just don't have the players smart enough to break down a solid defence. Most teams coming to St Marys employ a low block and this is why we win so few games at home and the football is so incredibly sterile.
