Ankersen is not a genius, more like a charlatan. Would a genius appoint Nathan Jones? I think not.

This is what I don't understand. We have seen no signs that Jones is a student of the game and he seems more of a throwback to past eras. It makes absolutely no sense and Ankersen needs to explain his reasoning because most fans are baffled and bewildered.

No point trying to dress it up and use sticking plaster solutions. Ankersen needs to hold his hands up and admit he's screwed up big time on this. Then SR do whatever it takes to put it right even if it costs a lot of money. This is on Ankersen and he is the one who should take it on the chin but keep him well away from choosing our next manager.

Serbians don't tend to mess about if they think they're being taken for a ride. Ankersen and his clever pals need to get their heads together and come up with a plan to extract themselves from the mess they've got themselves into. Football is indeed a simple game. Pass and move. Play between the lines by coaching receiving players to move into those spaces. Avoid too many straight lines of players which creates angles and availability. Pass the ball crisply with pace with players who can control it with their first touch. Be brave enough to receive the ball in confined spaces and have the speed of thought to move it on quickly and efficiently - trust your team mates. Look to advance the ball forward with quick interplay and avoid too many negative passes. Pass the ball not the buck. It is not rocket science and should not be beyond the capability of s decent coach to drill this into even our players. The easy cop out is to launch the ball long and expect to win matches doing that which is where we are with this guy in charge.

We don't need to listen to Stoke fans. Our eyes show us what is happening and it's not a pretty sight. SR wasted their chance to appoint a decent coach after sacking Ralph. Anyone who believes Jones will turn this around, given time, is living in cloud cuckoo land. The bloke is a dinosaur and the coaches he brought with him are not up to standard either. Time for SR to admit they've cocked up and cut their losses

No because if he gets us relegated the fans will be even more against him than they are now. That is the stark reality faced by SR. If they decide to keep Jones he will have to start winning football matches and improve our style of play very quickly. They took the huge gamble to appoint him and now they find themselves between a rock and a hard place. Poor management in the extreme.

The question is, are they going to do anything about their catastrophic error that has markedly increased the speed at which our club is hurtling towards relegation? Bringing in Orsic looks a good start but him and any further new signings need a quality coach in charge not a nonentity shouty long ball merchant from the Welsh valleys. You can bring in as many decent players as you like but they will not make much difference whilst this bloke is running training, picking the team and deciding on tactics. Time for Ankersen and his clever mates to show they really are intelligent, grow some balls and make a big decision for the good of the club. It may not save us from the drop but, with a good coach in charge, the fans will be back on side and we'll be more ready to mount a challenge next season if we do go down. Keep Jones and it will just get more toxic and he'll have to go eventually so bite the bullet, admit the cock up and get him gone now.
