He didn't get long but how did Stewart do?
-
Unbeaten in 8 games and a 20 points haul. We are one of the form teams so hope we can maintain the run after the break. Well done to RM and the players!
-
They were always going to make this a tough game but they only had one effort on target which was their goal. Was never going to be an easy game and the 3 points are more important than the performance.
-
Great result. No surprise they made us work hard for it but I think we restricted them to one chance on target if the stats are correct so we probably deserved to shade. it. Tough game out of the way with a weakened defence and we go into the break in a good place. Chance to give Stewart more time on the training ground. I think we go into an easier run of fixtures too plus both Leicester and Ipswich have stumbled lately. COYR!
-
Maybe the thought is to add more height to help the defence at set pieces.
-
Busy typing this as we score๐
-
Should have given Stewart a run. He'd be an unknown quantity compared to Che who we know what we get from and so do West Brom.
-
Thought RM might have thrown Stewart into the mix. Seems pointless if we're bringing Adams on (watch him score now ๐ )

You do realise how many goals and assists Adam Armstrong has this season don't you?
-
Funny how Bree is now considered a big miss if he doesn't play. It took too many games to work out that he's better than Manning.
-
Absolutely. Clearly not injured by the way he suddenly jumped up to take the free kick.
-
Crazy game that but a great watch. Spurs almost get it to 2-2 and end up losing 1-4 and then Chelsea miss another sitter. That Spurs high-line was madness with 11 men and insane with 9.

It's a very frank interview and has perhaps changed my perception of him. In terms of the team he has shown that he is willing to be flexible and seems to have adapted aspects of how we play which has improved performances. Nobody can argue with the results since that bad spell which is what set alarm bells ringing for many of us. I've doubted RM but I genuinely like how the guy comes across and hope he succeeds. He now has us headed in the right direction and the next few months will be interesting. If we continue on the current trajectory he'll win over most of his doubters.
-
Yeah madness. I thought as soon as you raised your hands you were off - or have they changed that rule?
-
The ball was played to him by a Millwall defender hence, not offside.
-
Ever the optimist! I dread to think what you'd have written if you were a pessimist ๐
-
Agree. Clearly bottled it to avoid antagonising the Geordies. Blatant red all day.
-
He's only started 3 games and come on in the rest so his 2 goal haul is impressive.
-
What was the goal like? Think AA got the assist.
-
Good to get the win with another late goal so more evidence that we keep going right to the final whistle. These type of relatively scrappy wins are crucial in a season and this maintains our momentum built during the last 7 games. Well done boys!
-
Think the wee man deserves a bump after today's late winner.
-
The wee man again!

Just my opinion. I've never seen anything in Winks other than a player who recycles the ball by playing a majority of simple passes. He flatters to deceive and the Spurs fans were desperate to get shot of him. Despite playing every game this season he has scored only one goal and has zero assists. Not for me but each to his own.
-
Big win for Leeds at Leicester and well deserved. Watched Harry Winks do what he always does 5 and 10 yard, nothing passes in the main - wouldn't want him playing for us. Think Leicester had about one effort on target all game and they looked poor tonight. Not over impressed with Pirou though - didn't do much other than miss an early chance.
-
We should be confident of winning this one. Just play as we did in the first half against Brum and take our chances and we should have too much for them.
