  1. Jones likes characters and he's the only one in our squad.
  2. Wet and windy conditions just what our warriors enjoy and thrive in 🙂
  3. Absolute madness to leave out our one player with a bit of drive in midfield. Clueless.
  4. That team will get outplayed comprehensively in midfield. Who is going to press, get their foot in, win headers or get the ball off Fulham? More of the same we saw against Brighton.
  5. Get great odds for that mainly because it has zero chance of happening 🙂
  6. He also suffered two embarrassing 9-0 defeats and presided over some long spells where the football was dire and results even worse. Should have gone in the summer along with the other deadwood coaches but his mate Semmens saved his job.
  7. Completely agree with this.
  8. SR have brought this on themselves. They would have been well aware that NJ would not be a popular choice among the fan base so he will not get much of a honeymoon period. He's had six weeks with the squad and I can't find anyone who thinks he's improved much at all in that time. If SR think he's the right man for the job why have we not seen any evidence after six weeks? If you opt for someone two divisions below with no proven rack record at a higher level you better be sure what you're doing because the fans are going to be scratching their heads and making their feelings known if there is no rapid signs of improvement. Whichever way you cut it this smacks of a bad appointment from people who talk a good game but are maybe not as sharp as many of us thought.
  9. Thought we had the thick end of 30 million earmarked for a striker in the Summer?
  10. If true why isn't he playing?
  11. Maybe re-read your post from Tuesday at 13.55.
  12. I think the after match comments were a bit of a cop-out. Six weeks of intense work should be enough to drill the players in what is required of each and every one of them. If not the coach is clearly either not capable of getting his ideas across or, his ides are bat shit crazy
  13. I was more than prepared to give him a fair crack of the whip until I saw what he produced after spending 6 weeks working with the squad. Sorry but I expected to see a lot more and it looked more like NJ had arrived the day before the Brighton match and been forced to throw a side together with zero preparation. I admit it's only one game but there were more alarms ringing than when Chernobyl went up.
  14. Not from the watching fans though.
  15. If you put Lyanco in midfield he will be like a headless chicken launching himself into tackles he can't possibly win and would probably see red before half time. He'd try too hard.
  16. I'd suggest behind the sofa with your hands covering your eyes.
  17. 3 at the back doesn't work for us.
  18. Moffi looks good. Powerful unit with skill and good in the air as well. Just what we need but I'm sure others will be looking at him.
  19. Larios is miles away from being ready to compete against men in the Premier league.
  20. She surely must know it can't and won't last and she's being used to get him off the hook. Nobody is that dense are they?
  21. You make the task impossible by limiting us to 3 signings. We need a minimum of a competent goalkeeper, a couple of big athletes in midfield with stamina who can pass and move, a creative number 10 who doesn't get knocked off the ball with the slightest touch and a big centre forward with pace who can head and shoot and knows where the goal is - oh and a new manager probably as well. 100 million should cover it. Failing that we're down and won't win many more games this season. Over to you Dragan.
  22. The keeper is throwing in a minimum of a goal a game. That is a disaster and must knock the confidence of the back four.
  23. A bottom of the Sunday League 3rd reserve keeper would have save Lallana's weak header. Bazunu should have been comfortably catching that but he appeared to want to push it out and ended up making a complete hash of a simple save. Nerves, age and inexperience shouldn't be a factor. To me he seems to want to push all shots out and doesn't seem confident of catching anything cleanly which is not a good sign.
  24. I admire your optimism even though I suspect it is misplaced.
  25. I can't imagine Dragan is happy at the way SR are running his investment into the ground. Hopefully he is rattling a few cages. Having said that hopefully he'll be providing some decent funds for the January window because clearly we need some new blood with fire in their bellies and a clue as to how to play football. Problem is, he may decide to cut his losses the way SR is running this shit show.
