I'd like to see our stats in terms of distance run yesterday. My guess is it wouldn't make good reading. My impression is that our fitness levels are way below the standard required at this level. Our times of playing well and competing have all coincided with us being a side that took great pride in its fitness levels. I fear that we have become a lazy squad content to do the bare minimum and we are being found out.

There's a lot to be done in this window. Unfortunately, if you have a keeper who is throwing goals into his own net every game your chances of gaining points are extremely limited. Poor as we were as a collective yesterday, a half decent keeper prevents Brighton's first two goals.

But the point is NJ has the same squad as Ralph but, despite 8 weeks (2 of which he chose to waste) to work on things we look far worse than ever. Fans are entitled to expect to have seen some progress if Jones really is the man to get us out of the mire - the shitshow he produced leaves more questions than answers and fans are rightly very concerned. Where are the athletes in our midfield? Tall, quick players who can cover the ground, close down, win duels, second balls, tackles and then spring into support of the attack. With no engine the car aint gonna run. We do, however, have plenty of passengers.

We stood off Brighton and gave them the freedom of the park. They were allowed to pass and move at will. We should have been right in their faces from the first whistle but we stood back and said, after you. Bazunu is a liability and at fault for the first two goals. He must be dropped after that display. Jones has inexplicably broken up the partnership of Salisu and ABK which was developing. Not sure how he thinks the kamikaze Lyanco is the answer when he spreads panic across the back four. Stuart Armstrong should be one of the first names on the team sheet yet we get Diallo, Djenepo and Elyounoussi. Can't see where our next win is coming from after watching that disaster show.

Watching that game I was srtuck by the question of, what has happened to JWP? He is a shadow of the player we've seen for the past few seasons. I'm not sure he'd get into another team in the Premier League. He offers absolutely zero in midfield and is a total passenger. He is one of the major problems for this team. I'd be inclined to drop him.

Got to say I am disappointed with Jones and his coaches. We are set up wrong, the team selection is wrong and the tactics are wrong. I had high hopes but this is not what I expected to see. We are an embarrassment to be honest.
