And one for his knob!

Hope you are right.

Great signing and just what we need ie a midfield player who likes a tackle and knows how to make one. I'd still like us to sign Grimes because of his passing range. I think a midfield of Downes, Smallbone and Grimes would be awesome and we could push Alcatraz higher up the pitch where he's more dangerous.

Apologise for what? I've watched the goal back a few times and I can't for the life of me work out why Baz would be stood on his front post when the cross comes in. Perhaps you know more about the arts of goalkeeping but, to me, it looked all wrong as he left himself stranded. Surely if he stands more central he can react better to any type of cross whereas he looked to have gambled on a near post cross. I'm happy to be shown to be wrong by a goalkeeping expert with an explanation as to why his front post position was correct on this occasion.
-
The first one Baz,for reasons only known to himself, positions himself near the front post when he should be more central. The cross to the back post sails over his head leaving him totally stranded and unable to help his defenders. Schoolboy goalkeeping.

Nobody would be daft enough to pay him what we're paying and he wouldn't be daft enough to take a drop in salary to warm someone else's bench. Can't see him going anywhere which is a shame.

The best keepers have positional sense which helps them make saves, deal with crosses and cut down the angles for shots and headers. Baz has the worst positional sense I've seen in a professional keeper which is why he saves very little and is hopeless at dealing with crosses. Agree he has zero presence and it must be a nightmare playing with him behind you.

The first goal his position at the near post was all wrong and, as a result, the ball sails over his head - he should have been more central to give himself the chance to claim the cross. I'd also question his positioning for the second goal. Yes, it was well struck but Baz gave him almost the whole goal to aim at. The other two goals he had no chance. I think positional sense is his biggest failing and he gives himself too much to do hence he doesn't save much. Just my take on it.

Maybe sign that England captain to play centre half - Millie Bright I think she's called.

We've got millions not billions.

We're going to need to be awarded a lot of penalties 🙂

Can we please take the draw now.

Think RM might regret making Stephens his skipper.
-
Yeah but that was to Liverpool.

Did you read my post? I don't care about today's goals. By the way, is there two of you because you go from defending Baz to saying he needs replacing.
-
I couldn't give a fig about today's goals - this guy is not good enough to be our number one keeper if we are serious about promotion. If you think he is well, let's see how he pans out over the next couple of months.
-
He's the most unlucky keeper in the world. Every effort on goal he faces is unstoppable.
-
But any manager/coach worth their salt would look at videos of Baz and draw the conclusion that he simply isn't anywhere near ready to be trusted as our number one keeper. Instead of buying a decent first choice to replace him we added Lumley to the list of incompetents. It's ridiculous for a club that claims to want to get back into the Prem at the first time of asking.
-
But his stats last season were the worst in pretty much the whole world. Why does anyone think he'll do any better this year? He cannot do the basic requirement which is to save the ball from going in our net. We need a keeper who will make brilliant saves - all of the reasonably competent ones do so but Baz doesn't. It's not all at his door because he has some terrible defenders in front of him What an absolute shit show. Jason Wilcocks is going to be very busy once we have the funds from JWP and Lavia.
-
He lacks them but he gives them out.
-
Stephens never marks anyone. Never has.

Has Baz saved one yet? Another header. Painful.
