Exactly this. We never seem to have any of those clever players who drift into space to receive passes. Our players seem to position themselves with an opponent between them and the team mate with the ball.

Didn't expect us to beat Palace so credit where it's due. Winning in the cup is a confidence booster but it's the league games that really matter now. Here's hoping we take something from Everton next week, we're certainly due a result there. Hopefully Orsic will play plus any other new signings

Ankersen is not a genius, more like a charlatan. Would a genius appoint Nathan Jones? I think not.

This is what I don't understand. We have seen no signs that Jones is a student of the game and he seems more of a throwback to past eras. It makes absolutely no sense and Ankersen needs to explain his reasoning because most fans are baffled and bewildered.

No point trying to dress it up and use sticking plaster solutions. Ankersen needs to hold his hands up and admit he's screwed up big time on this. Then SR do whatever it takes to put it right even if it costs a lot of money. This is on Ankersen and he is the one who should take it on the chin but keep him well away from choosing our next manager.

Serbians don't tend to mess about if they think they're being taken for a ride. Ankersen and his clever pals need to get their heads together and come up with a plan to extract themselves from the mess they've got themselves into. Maybe start by sacking Jones but not sure how they'll explain that major cock up to Dragan.
