He needs better movement and options from the players around him. Time and again he receives the ball, looks up and there is zero movement. JWP is at his best when we are playing quick passes with triangles of players so that there are always a couple of options. Right now we are not showing for the ball and some players seem almost to be hiding. Get the triangles going again and JWP will be back to his best. He always looks poor when we play this way especially with the constant hoof ball and everything done in a rush. Open up the spaces, give him a little more time when he's on the ball and he'll start pulling the strings but this abject style of football does not suit his game - nor anybody else's for that matter.

Good battling win, a clean sheet and much needed 3 points. Che was immense and deserved his goal and MOM award. He will find it tougher against defenders of a better calibre than Bournemouth have but tonight he was superb. Stu Armstrong came on and looked like a footballer and must start against Arsenal. Good cameo from Diallo - if he could do that for 90 minutes he'd be playing every game. JWP is floundering and I think a lot of it is because he is surrounded by dross so when he gets the ball he has very limited options - he misses Oriel and/or Lavia plus he'd improve if Stu was in the side. KWP is going backwards literally and, at the risk of the wrath of the Ralph fans I believe he's been told to reign in the marauding runs forward - if so he's a worse player for it. Everything we do is rushed so we constantly give the ball away - a little more composure, some movement off the ball, play between the lines and we'd look much better. Bournemouth were rubbish and despite us continually giving them the ball they never looked like scoring and we went closer to adding a second. These 2 sides along with Forest currently look the worst in the division and must be the 3 favourites to go down on recent performances. Still think we'd improve quite considerably with a different manager but it's not going to happen. Great win tonight but it was a hard watch for both sets of fans.

Well worked goal and nice to be one up. Need to attack them more. Not sure what has happened to KWP - seems not to want to get forward almost as though he's been told to stay back. Bournemouth are poor so far but suspect they'll do more second half. Ref is shocking - giving them free kicks for minor bumps - he's obviously taking no notice of the new directive to allow some physical contact.

Says it all really.
-
He does exactly what Ralph tells him to do.
-
It's not a photo of Ralph.

Too risky for Ralph. Edozie might attack and create but would he do the stuff that his manager loves?
-
I think this particular camel's back is stronger than we estimated and it will take more than a few straws to break it
-
I would say there are quite a few other things aside from having a striker and an attacking midfielder which will eventually cost Ralph his job. Not suggesting we wouldn't be doing better with those in the side but Ralph has a stack of negatives that go against him.

Doubt Leicester will be relegated.

Where's our next clean sheet going to come from?
saintant replied to Disco Stu's topic in The Saints
Our next clean sheet will probably be in the Championship. -
I don't doubt that but so far they've shown a strange way of going about it. Since they took over we have possibly regressed as a football club.

Because, as Semmens said at the pre-season fan's forum, where we finish is not important. I think there was more to that statement than most of us appreciated at the time. People saw it as a throw-away remark but maybe it was a warning to the supporters. SR may have no desire or intention to get rid of Ralph whatever the results and our league position.
-
Ralph prefers players who behave like robots and follow his mad instructions. He is not so keen on flair players who do their own thing and maybe create something because they step outside the realms of his boring playbook which, incidentally, needs to be confined to the dustbin. Seems KWP could be the latest flair player he's reigned in judging by his recent safe performances which have lacked the marauding runs most fans loved seeing.
-
You call it negativity I call it realism based on our performances for months. Let's see.
-
Possible dislocation and could be out for up to 8 weeks I heard.
-
Another depressing loss - probably battle hard but go down 1-0. Ralph will not be brave enough to take risks, have a go and try for the 3 points we so desperately need.
-
That's down to Ralph and his training sessions.
-
So why did Ralph do nothing to counter it.?You could see it happening but the guy who is paid six million couldn't. Sums him up.
-
Maybe Semmens was talking from a position of knowing more about the ambitions of SR than we do when he said it doesn't matter where we finish. It seemed an odd thing to say but the longer this debacle goes on the more what he said has a ring of truth about it.
-
I didn't see the game but if we were stupid enough to give Declan Rice the freedom of the park it is a miracle we managed to scramble a point. What goes on at the training ground in preparation for matches? Does nobody gather a dossier on our opponents strengths and weaknesses? You wouldn't even need a dossier to know what Rice can do - it's there for anyone to see watching him in televised games. I despair at how amateur this club has become.

It was inevitable that West Ham would equalise and also inevitable that from that point Ralph would be totally incapable of rallying his team to make a concerted effort to regain the initiative and the lead. He is a beaten man so do the honourable thing and take the reigns away from him because it is not going to get any better. He's out of ideas.
-
Has he gone yet?
-
He's got more idea than Ralph. Villa gave Chelsea a good game today and probably deserved something from the match. He'll probably get sacked before Ralph though - come to think of it Pep will probably get sacked before Mr Teflon.
-
Well we might put a line under it but we won't move on unless we sack the incompetent.
