Good points well made.

Quarshie is 21 so has time on his side. Ok, he may not make it but now is not the time to judge him. Let's see how he develops.

Lots of bravado on Ipswich fans forums. Plenty of whistling in the dark. They know we are the form team and have a formidable home record whereas their away record is sketchy at best. They are less confident than they are trying to make out. Be ready for their normal shithousery on the pitch. Their players will be encouraged to use every trick in the book tonight. Hope the ref doesn't let them mug him off.

Go look at the pitchside unseen footage on our official website - Welington can be seen twice feeling the back of his thigh which normally indicates a hamstring injury. I guess we'll see when the club make an announcement on the injury.
-
No pressure on us - we're not expecting anything other than play-offs unless a minor miracle happens. Ipswich have 2nd place in their grasp which they can still lose so all the pressure is on them.
-
It's so obvious that his pre-match monologue for the big Sunday games is totally scripted. Plus the way he screeches a player's name just before he shoots in anticipation of a goal is super annoying.

Nah, gotta be Bragg and Jander for me.
-
Just watched manager cam with Tonda and Pep in technical areas. Very good.
-
Jander is a machine - he'll start tomorrow. Bragg and Charles is not a good enough pair against Ipswich.
-
With the transfer fees we got for Dibling and Fernandes you wonder what Jander is worth in today's market. Not that I'd want us to sell him but he'll likely go in the summer if we don't get promoted.
-
We need to go all in on this one. Love to see us right at it and blow them away. We'll not get 2nd but let's make it a nervy last day for the Tractor Boys. Tonda will be urging the boys to win big in our remaining two matches to set ius up for the play-offs. Momentum is everything.
-
Just watched Chelsea beat Leeds. We raved about Lavia when he was here but he's not in Janders class plus he can only ever play 60 minutes.
-
Nah, we win this to get semi final defeat out of our system.
-
Think our players will be itching to get back on the pitch and take Saturday's narrow defeat out on someone. Unlucky Ipswich, you're in the firing line!
-
Think we get the Championship trophy if we win the play-off final 🙂
-
He rarely missed a tackle, block or interception yesterday and was instrumental in our goal. Phenomenal performance from start to finish. One of the best midfield displays I've ever seen from a Saints player which is some tribute because we've had many great ones in his position.

You know its coming down the tracks soon 🙂

Automatic is looking like a very long shot. Our focus needs to be on making sure we take that 4th spot ahead of Boro. They face a tough test in their final game against Wrexham - might be a draw with Wrexham trying to hold off Derby for 6th. If that is the case we'll need 4 points from Ipswich at home then Preston away so it's going to be tight.

Doubt it was ankle - looked more like a strain, maybe hamstring or calf.

Woke this morning with a tinge of disappointment but only a tiny one. My over-riding feeling was pride in this team and gratitude to Tonda Eckert. It's not long since we were a sham of a football team derided and beaten almost everywhere we went. Not anymore. We now have our football team back and can give anyone a game. The players take to the field without fear, rather with the belief that they belong and can match the very best. Every player yesterday gave of their utmost and left nothing on the pitch - we ask no more than that but they gave us even more. Of course it was always going to be a mainly rear guard action but how our boys fought throughout the entire game in their efforts to pull off a miracle - they almost did it. The superb goal from Azaz will live long in the memory but, more than anything, how fantastic is it to have a team to feel proud of and to enjoy watching after the shame of last season. Well played team and Tonda, keep doing what you're doing because it's making you a legend at such a young age.

Wouldn't put it down to it being 'us' - more that it was against a team of elite players on the pitch and bench. Don't think there was anything Saintsy about it, Pep just got a little worried and turned everything up a notch or two and, with the luck of a deflected shot plus an absolute worldie from an unexpected source, got them over the line.

Thought the ref handled the game pretty well to be honest.
-
He's a proper baller with a razor sharp brain. These type of players will always have periods when not seeming to affect games especially against a side like City where you don't have much decent possession. He still came up with most of our good moments and scored a superb goal to send every Saints fan into raptures.
