Decent enough point after gifting them a goal. Some good moments but still far too many mistakes and we continually give the ball away and give away cheap free-kicks. Robinson was very good as was Wee Man. The rest not so. Manning again looked solid when he came on so would prefer him to Wellington. Quarshie still looks like an accident waiting to happen - doubt we'll have to wait long. Need to get to September and see what we've got - need that creativity in midfield for sure.

So what formation will we play with 5 at the back and those 3 in midfield?

So Will has failed to learn that Armstrong through the middle has never worked.

Struggling to figure out who will play where or what the starting formation will be. Assuming we start 5 at the back where do Fernandes, Charles and Downes fit in? This is either tactical genius or we're going to look very disjointed and not offer much threat going forward.

I don't know but my guess is that he's piled on a fair bit of timber since he was 19. He always looks overweight to me compared with most professional footballers. Maybe it's an optical illusion.

The problem is you get outnumbered in midfield unless your players are smart enough to play3 at the back with wing backs - our players do not know how to do it. We must get Fernandes, Charles and Downes in midfield tomorrow which means ditching 3 at the back and changing to a back 4.
