  1. It is well known that what he is peddling is snake-oil yet he continues to find more suckers willing to buy it. Have to take your hat off to him for that. For a guy with very little coaching talent he's managed to secure some decent jobs and made a lot of money along the way.
  2. Can't see Palace paying £45-50m of the £60m they'll receive for Eze on the potential of a 19 year old youngster.
  3. But we came close to scoring on more occasions than them and were deserved winners. I keep hearing that Wrexham battered us but that's not how I saw it so will give us credit for being the better side.
  4. Not even counted as a shot on target as you well know. Stats show we were the team that could and should have scored more goals.
  5. I wasn't criticising Baz - I was pointing out that Wrexham couldn't have scored a load of goals because our keeper only had one save to make.
  6. Baz made one save.
  7. I don't disagree with any of that but the original source clearly stated that the club is trying to keep this info under wraps - if so perhaps we should respect that. You are entitled to disagree of course.
  8. Maybe have a chat with Alfie House about what the club have told him on this.
  9. Well maybe they shouldn't if the club are trying to keep transfer info under wraps - loose lips sink ships and all that.
  10. Not exactly keeping it under wraps considering you somehow appear to know about it 🙂
  11. Well none of us are sure about Downs - he had about 15-20 minutes on the pitch in his Championship debut so shame he didn't rattle in a quickfire hattrick.
  12. We could have been two up before they threatened our goal - Fraser had a decent chance very early on that he just failed to curl into the bottom corner and Robinson had a shot that Ward just about managed to keep out. You can't only look at their chances and ignore our own.
  13. Good watch that. Makes you realise how much good stuff he did throughout the game.
  14. Didn't realise Kevin Nolan is their manager.
  15. Better that neither of these sides ever get promoted to the Premier League. Imagine the huge awakening their fans would get playing at places like Anfield and seeing how many decisions go against them. That would really give them something to whine about.
  16. Agree, if you want these type of game changing players you have to pay big. Alternatively SR can continue doing what they always do and we'll never progress. This deal is sounding like it'll be this season's Cody Gakpo.
  17. Sunday is a normal day off - Russboy used to chuck in Mondays as well for a nice long weekend before the light jogging and fun kick about training sessions. How much fitter did we look yesterday!
  18. It seems we may be looking at loan deals.
  19. Their fans in the main seem to disagree with you. On the whole they are saying all the things we were during his tenure here after two draws against poor opposition in the SPL.
  20. He's still finding plenty of customers to buy the snake oil. However, if he fails at Rangers doing the same stubborn things you do have to wonder if that's his lot in football. Rangers have some decent players but they need to play at a high tempo not Russell's pass for passes sake which just negates their pacey wingers.
  21. None of these comments expresses hate for Stephens. They are all opinions showing that the fans who expressed them do not rate the guy. You can't confuse that with hate which is quite a strong word.
  22. We desperately need a creative midfielder and probably as the number one priority.
  23. Sous-chef maybe 🙂
  24. Don't know where you get your info from but below is a direct quote from Kevin Friend of the PGMOL 'We're basically looking for examples where it clearly hits the arm unjustifiably, hands above the head, away from the body, to deliberately block the ball from going into the box or into the goal.'
  25. Give me strength 🙂 I'm pretty sure the rule about handball is that players must not use them to make themselves bigger and more likely to block a shot. I get it's not natural to have your arms tucked in but explain to me why most players do it on a regular basis - they do it because they know they run a big risk of conceding a penalty if their arms are not tucked in. I'm pretty sure if that had been in the Premier League VAR would have supported our penalty claims.
