Again being the best of a bad bunch isn't too much of an endorsement for this season - we are currently scoring under 1 goal a game as a team and Tino and Jan have scored more goals than him. Not to get at redmond but our inside forwards goal returns for the games we have played are dreadful - 1 goal (Mo) from 17 games is horrendous for the positions and minutes that they have played.

Bro I just wish in the EPL for once we had and owner with disposable cash (and can invest the 50m net free per year for FFP) and can play a better version of the L1 glory days when good players came in and made us awesome to watch. I really feel we are so close to a tipping point that if we could just improve the squad to the next level of quality we could super fun to watch. Personally I would buy 2 inside forwards, a proven striker and a direct running CM and a goalie as my first summer shopping assignment.

I like this link at lot and he could walk straight into our inside left position as he is direct and apparently can hit the target. Lots like 13mil is the current number being mooted for him - west ham and everton being our supposed competition they already have a lot of players in that position who are good.

I think all of our inside forwards are non goalscoring and I find all of them annoying as they could write a article on taking the wrong decision when in a goal scoring position. The last one who gave me hope he could score was Armstrong but he only plays for Scotland nowadays. So far Redmond, Moi, Tella, Walcott, Moussa have contributed 1 goal this season in the EPL.
