My Luton mate. my sources telling me nathan jones leaving and finalising compensation and who will leave with him will end in tears and his teams play shit football Irony alert in the last bit.

Ralph was exactly what we needed after pellegrino and hughes, a manager with a clear plan and had us playing attacking football. I think essentially his was of playing football then become longterm incompatible with our budget under Gao and we had to shop in the 1 pound shop for too long. Now the irony is that with this being the 1st summer we have spent a lot of money, he was let down by someone (guessing semmens) not getting that top striker after mara signed which was the priority signing as our striker options massively degraded with Ings leaving.

if we are paying 6mil for ralph then to be honest we could get a lot of very very good coaches. More from pep on Gallardo - “What Gallardo has done with River is incredible. Some things are inexplicable. Every year three coaches are named as the best in the world, and he's never among them. I can't understand it." Ok I have convinced myself we are getting him, I am now preparing to be underwhelmed

Get him a Lamborghini Gallardo as a company car

Gallardo's contract ends in Dec River has finished their season but have 2 friendlies to play in nov with the last one being the 13th Nov. He has already done his big goodbye in the stadium back in Oct https://www.batimes.com.ar/news/sports/river-plate-bids-farewell-to-el-muneco-gallardo-in-explosive-style.phtml One of the great successes of Gallardo's time in charge has been the coach's ability to reinvent the side, despite losing big stars each year to club's in leagues with greater finances. "They sell him players and he's still there. He recycles himself and continues," Spanish coach Pep Guardiola said recently, praising Gallardo's skill. If we got Gallardo then I am firmly behind this appointment - he's won 14 trophies in his career.

my mate is a massive luton fan (MIG) and I've watched them too much over the last few years. Jones has done well with absolutely 0 money for the last 3 yrs and when he left to go to stoke he failed miserably. Message below was from about a month ago when i floated the idea. "football not great, play on the counter and plenty of long balls, but naturally good enough to royally dick watford"

let me compile a list of likely candidates from the zambian league, these guys are pep mark 2

fucks sake another atrocious game. but to go from Ings to Adams as our principle striker in 3 seasons is abysmal, who ever fucked up the striker confirmed as coming after mara signed should never do a transfer for us again. -

I expect with Lavia back we play a lot better. -
Your looking at the wrong stats, our scouts look at his defensive contribution and marking at opposition corners, goals are not important in their assessment.

ignore fucked it up
-
I dunno he did a wicked assist, he's just not a focal point to launch balls up to, he seemed to play a bit off the left wing/inside forward in bordeaux/u21 france etc. I would like to see him play as the forward to runs onto adams holding the ball up or flick ons

It would not change how bad our goalscorers are

Most glamorous league in the world, the highest paying league in the world, use us as a stepping stone club to one of the big boys. Work with you exciting young players, live on the english rivera but close to london whats not to love.

Someone somewhere dropped the biggest of bollocks. "Discussing his striker options in an interview with Sky Sports, Hasenhuttl said: "He (Mara) is not the only offensive player we want to bring in. There is still somebody else to come. “In the end, we need guys who make a difference up front. “I think it’s definitely a fact that last season, we had the best time when Armando Broja was on his highest level. “That makes a difference in those games for us. You can see that some goals, when there is no chance, can change completely a game and turn things around. “This is what a lot of Premier League teams have, an exceptional striker up front who makes a difference in some moments, and that makes it easier for the whole team to do the rest of the job. “That is what we need. We were strongest last season when we had it. This season, we need the same.” https://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/20598805.ralph-hasenhuttl-southampton-fc-need-add-another-striker/

Ralph was certain we were buying a striker (after mara) during the summer in his interviews. If its true that Semmens fucked it up by penny pinching even though SR had given him the green light then he is the biggest problem. With a clinical striker we would of scored yesterday, maybe won.
