Think Tadic was the last truly creative player we had who started most games, we need an assist machine in his mould from somewhere. Someone who can see a run, pass instantly rather than moving the ball around looking for an overload. Looking at the eredevsie tadic is still bossing it, but Karlson defo has something about him

We spend no money for 5yrs, spend money this summer and we are moaning that they are not PL proven, you can't win.

I'm very excited about these players, they seem to have buckets of talent but not too much experience of top flight football (aribo apart) and by buying enough of them when one or two drop in form others will be ready to come in . The last experienced striker we signed was Carillo and that didnt work out too great, if you want a proven successful striker i honestly think your looking at 30m + and we can't afford that for 1 position, we have to gamble. I agree we need another striker - just not sure where or what we will be spending but yes one around 23/24 would be ideal, play for a couple of years and sell on and Mara is the no.1 man then as he'd only be 21 and blooded.

To be honest there are 2 types of pundits, those that spend time and learn about whats happening v the lazy one spout platitudes etc. I have only heard 1 guy talk about us and it was on sky sports and he was saying this is a transformational window for us, we've spent 50m which is unheard of for southampton getting lots of young and under appreciated talent into St Marys.
