I couldn't believe that tweet so had to check the actual quote on the 6th may before liverpool game, which aside from his poor judgement of our goalkeepers abilities i don't think he says what is tweeted. "I'm not really a big fan of having a clear number one goalkeeper," he said. "I need to have a good goalkeeper in the goal and whether it is number one or number two, or however you call him, it's not interesting to me. "He has to have a duel with another one, just like everyone else on the pitch. "It's always normal that goalkeepers have the good moments where they are good in form, where they save you the games, where they make you the big saves to keep you a clean sheet or to win you a game. "But then there are some moments where they are struggling a bit and then maybe the other one is in better momentum and you can use him for this," he continued. "The good thing is that we have two good goalkeepers that we can trust and this is something of an advantage, I think."

Anyone seen this ? Southampton are looking to sign Benfica full-back Nuno Tavares with Wolverhampton Wanderers’ forgotten man Ruben Vinagre lined up as his replacement at the Primeira Liga giants, as reported by A Bola. He can play both sides apparently

When are we back for pre-season so i know when we would hope to have these transfers done by. Also i cant remember where but i read ityesterday but ralph was quoted as saying we will be busy in the transfer market and will have a good team next year !!!!

Dont think Semmens understands all contracts with chinese companies arent worth the paper they are written on. Look at the broadcast deal they flounced out of, look at the myriad of chinese firms taken public in the US for millions and its a bloke in a shed. All contractual, legal and criminal proceedings have a hard stop at the chinese border.

Do you think redmond will also return to his spiritual home ?
-
Should of given it to the clubs they put at risk for potentially devaluing their value.
-
Dont think anyone else has looking at what they are saying, maybe just strategy from Brest to get leverage to increase the sell on %. Looking around looked like Leeds and Newcastle were interested as well but I think we tried to get him in Jan and have Ibra, close to france etc so unless they offer ++ wages suggest this one could be done, but who knows. Just read an article in Le Figaro from Feb where they likened him to Bixente Lizarazu - take that all day long.
-
Ok back to Romain. On their forum they are saying it will be around 12mil euro for him, OG Nice have a sell on % and apparently the only thing holding it up at the moment is the % sell on amount we are agreeing with them before it is signed. Speculation is that salary is 140k a month - he was on 60k a month at Brest. Also the dudes over there are talking about it would be good to take Valery as they need a RB as well apparently - yes please.
-
Do the other 14 clubs get the 20mil ? could do with another 1.4mil in the transfer kitty

Supporting the players in taking the knee

I just want sport to just be sport again. -
Surprised it's not started already so thought I'd commence. Another potentially great signing from Brest, as usual he will have his knockers on here but if there is a chance he can help us up front without needing extra support I think we have an opportunity to really see some long range bazookas from him. PS - I identified as a woman writing this so dont be a bigot.

Perraud, 23, played for France up to under-20s level and his performance data — taken from smarterscout, which gives detailed analytics on players all over the world and gives ratings between zero and 99 across a series of metrics

I think Ralph was using him to see if the fans pressure made his rubbish or is he without fans still rubbish, hopefully he got his answer. Also i think i read somewhere he is also teachers pet so that could explain it.

Dunno why everyone is so worried about his height. Our approach is to be pressing from the front to try and win the ball back and/or negate these long balls over the FB. Were are not letting their CM ping balls all over the shop. Everytime I've seen KWP had a ball pinged over his head 1 of 2 things have happened. Either he is close enough to recover and pressure the player or he is too far up field and everyone has shifted to the right and the right CB goes out to cover.

Some current and suggested players: Koopmeiners - now being linked with a 18mil bid to Atalanta after they had a 16mil bid turned down. Joey Veerman - linked with a lot of clubs in NL and abroad (inc Rangers/Celtic) Elyounoussi - Linked with Hertha, Wolfsburg and Eintrachk Frankfurt Jovanne Cabral - Left winger we were apparently in talks with him last summer from Sporting - never heard of him but but think he was a pre-walcott interest
