All season he has been mistake central out of our CB's, he's still looking for werner after he nutmegged him with his back to goal. Will be interesting to see if lewandowski can score enough to make up for his mistakes in the euros. He's a good CB from the bench which is fair for what he cost.

Keeping Track of the Contracts 2024-25

Maybe he should try league 1 again he was player of the month for MK Dons https://citiblog.co.uk/2019/03/09/jake-hesketh-wins-player-of-the-month-award/ -
He's a leader as well which is a bonus, apparently a vocal player who can bea DM, Box to Box player or slot in as a CB as needed, a selfless player

I have hopeful news........ His agency is People in Sport whose founder and partner is Michael Stensgaard who was a keeper with us in the 1999 season. His phone number is up there if anyone wants to call him and ask or give him a whatsapp http://peopleinsport.eu/fodbold/

He's too lightweight for us I think, works hard, makes good runs but he always gets shoved off the ball.

Its like the rumours tap has finally been turned on, transfer season is here.

Dave Watson is like an infection you can't shift, how many managers has he worked with now. I think with Watson/Davis any manager is going to have them so the club retain "continuity" which in our case is 2 keepers who coach keepers badly and outfield players worse.

They are all terrible. Get 15m for them all and get someone else
-
I dont think it's too much of an insult to be schooled by Biesla. But i think the difference today was the quality their players demonstrated at the business end.

Stats are fun but watching players really does form your opinion. Just watched a vid and some amusing stats: - Zidane & Giggs = 7 goals per season average -Bergkamp = 10 goals a season at Arsenal They would all be crap in the Is Che Adams good enough thread as well
-
We need @Matthew Le God to do a stats comparison between to the 2 given he's the FM expert, he must have loads of data.
-
Probably time for him to return to his spiritual home of Carrow Road next season.
-
Tadic really was a machine for us and still is for Ajax

Hahaha this thread is hilarious, new surprises everyday, do we have any other famous relations out there of saintsweb members. Bring on the end of season and the transfer window thread where i have the fake hope every year we will buy someone awesome.

I think currently redmond is in the team purely for defensive purposes at the moment as Betrand/Stephens sit back as KWP attacks so as they squeeze over to the right he's there to breakdown counter attacks down that side. Expect competition to be Moussa/Nathan next year if he doesnt get moved on.

A Chinese businessman, Gao Jisheng, made a move in recent years to take over Southampton FC in a possible £200 million deal. As it turned out, Gao had admitted to bribery offences but escaped charges because he gave evidence for the prosecution in two separate cases. It was actually Gao’s bid for Southampton that prompted the new rule-change to include the ‘conduct outside the UK that would constitute an offence’ ground rule. https://insidersport.com/2019/02/13/the-unenforced-regulation-in-english-football-ownership/

The Prem board barred Gao in February after obtaining evidence he had twice been involved in corruption cases in China, one of which ended with a senior city politician being executed by lethal injection. https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/3422978/premier-league-blocked-gao-jisheng-200m-southampton/ They changed the test after him
