  1. It's like spurs under Ossie ardiles but we don't score goals to win 5-4
  2. 100% agree with this. I see this time and again on here, people forget players are assets to the club, people act like we aren't trying to run a profitable business but want us to spend lots of money. Must be Man City accountants.
  3. 1-1 didn't see the match, was it a good result ?
  4. I only just found out who we are playing today cos of this thread. Apathy is high. Still.... 2-0 saints
  5. I didnt realise when we signed the loch ness drogba it would be the hardly ever seen nessie portion we were getting
  6. Viva La Vida by Coldplay I used to rule the world, Seats in the stadium unfurled, Now in the stands, we chant your name, Dragan, oh Dragan, lead the game. One minute I held the key, Next the locks were all that I could see, With Sport Republic at the helm, Dragan, oh Dragan, lead us well!
  7. Juventus didnt rate the 50m euros cost to make him perm and their director has been tracking him for a few years. "But according to Calciomercato, Juventus would like to maintain Alcaraz on a permanent basis. As the source explains, the Bianconeri never intended to activate their buy option within the current terms, but they were willing to instill a high redemption fee to push the deal through as they were desperate to add a new midfielder to the fold. Therefore, Juve will have to renegotiate new terms with Southampton in the summer in order to keep the young Argentina at Continassa. The report also details how Juventus Football Director Cristiano Giuntoli had already tried to sign Alcaraz in 2022 while serving as the sporting director of Napoli. That operation was blocked by club president Aurelio De Laurentiis who wasn’t willing to meet the player’s price."
  8. I actually dont know any spurs fans but they do seem to whine a lot about a lot of shit.
  9. All i care about is hopefully signing Danny Rohl and his majestic hairline for next season. Honestly though i think he has a big upside so like players who come to us for a bit to build up their profile i will take the east german from saxon switzerland (yes yes MLG I am taking poetic licence its pretty fucking close to saxon switzerland) as out next taxi off the rank. 1 year in championship, keep us in the prem and then a big german club comes in.
  10. "Ferula te ipsum in testiculis" Which you scholars out there know means punch yourself in the balls
  11. Am pretty positive that we are maintaining my life long trend of being shit, we did have a few years where people were trying to make us good but overall saints have had a better deal out of me supporting them than i have out of them being my football team.
  12. Tadic would of been kicked out as well for risking losing the ball too often by trying to be an assist machine.
  13. Happy for Charlie, always rated him but as soon as Lego came in he was on the outs. Think premier League suits his style and can see Everton making his move perm if he gets a couple more goals.
  14. I've finally come to the conclusion that we aren't very good and we might be relegated.
  15. Glad i missed the game based on reports.
  16. Please send onlyfans link

  18. Thanks you've given us a chance, the match day gods always look for predictions like this, thank you for your service.
  19. honestly this is the saints version of the maginot line, they are going to just run around them
  20. will drink at home to ensure success
  21. What did Big les do to deserve that line up. He's going to be covering for the 5 goal hanging in front of him.
  22. I am going to be paying attention to what he wears next game as an anagram of his name is Posh Jeans Sir

Found this tactical analysis as Juric joined quite an interesting read https://totalfootballanalysis.com/team-analysis/ivan-juric-southampton-202425-tactical-analysis-tactics Its just as a he was taking over in Dec but I found these quotes seems to summarise our midfield very well. "Still, the Southampton player was never really getting there – the Saints’ first mistake was not having a second wave of pressing player(s) ready to engage." "This example showed two key flaws from Southampton – a lack of tactical preparation for the press and a lack of individual ability to think and act in the moment." "in terms of a lack of individual know-how – players recognise danger too late and, therefore, make their midfield unit far too easy to play through." "Southampton’s positioning in midfield is not bad – the letdown here was individual execution in the counterpress following a turnover." I am seeing a trend about out midfielders.
  25. I am not sure that is true. 1st season under moyes he played 37 times and scored 7 goals, moyes gets sacked new manager didnt fancy him and he was on loan to forest as back up to their midfield who are having a excellent season.
