Its interesting about archer as I read on scouting reports he likes to cut in from the left like BBD does, he's not a classic no. 9 in the hold up sense but I guess his movement will be crucial and his finishing excellent.

honestly this will be interesting to watch as its make or break for him. he should play alot i'd guess so hopefully he develops, its chelsea's 2nd club so they have a load of their players there so quality should be high. not sure who the coach is now viera was sacked (edit its Liam Rosenoir !!!!) but i bet they get someone who wants to play ball. I can see this Chelsea relationship really benefiting us, we will never compete with them but play a similar style so might get access to players others wouldnt.

God this window is tedious, the made up rumours seem worse than ever. Not even excited for the first game, no buzz, no wow factor and the feeling that we will struggle to score while gifting goals to teams who press us, something that has been obvs since early last season. I for one believe this season will be a succession of wins and sexy football for Valenciennes. Both Fred and Christophe will be drunk after every game and shouting how happy they are about sports republic owners as valenciennes go the season unbeaten. I am an eternal optimist but Aubagne are going to find out the hard way as you win the first game easily 2-0.

Good point. So many managers what finished players, we can't afford that hence need a manager who can improve both players and also ensure that we get players to suit our system. A good system played by "lesser" players beats better players in a shit system.
