It's just happened AGAIN! TWO PLAYERS, both of them strikers - that makes SIX strikers injured in my game so far and I'm in pre-f*cking-season! -

I've just come across this injury bug. About six players out injured, its ridiculous. I also said 'for the fans' at half time, yet it came up as 'i'm pleased with your performance' AND I'm repeatedly being asked (more or less every day) about match preparation, despite sorting it out. Not impressed with the amount of bugs and problems with this game. -

In fact, I'm now the manager of Swedish second division side Stromsberg IF, about as obscure as you can get. Game is running like an absolute dream. -

And all thanks to...? I'm considering starting from scratch. I think it's absurd I leave Berwick and I'm getting Spurs approaching me, Scots division one to Champions League is absurd. To be fair I always start as a former pro, I might set it to automatic and start working for big jobs rather than just getting linked with them all the time. -
A friend of mine left the academy because he said he basically had no life outside of Saints anymore, he was sick of not seeing his friends and family when he was growing up. He got an injury that they wanted to help him with but he chose to opt out. This was a few years back, so maybe the academy wasn't brilliant on the human side of things. You never know.

Your ability wasn't that great either mate... Leon Best: All my mates are in prison "My attitude when I first started at Southampton was bad. Let's just say I wasn't the best behaved back then. "I was young and never listened to anyone. I always thought that I knew what best. But you learn. "I was never fully focused when I was younger. I always thought someone was against me — it was like I always had to prove something. "I went to Coventry but I had injuries. It just didn't feel right but this one point in my career, everything is right."

Fresh from Twitter: davekidd_people Dave Kidd Pompey must be skint. They wanted to appoint Steve Coppell to replace Steve Cotterill, so they could save on lettering for the office door

AVB leaves Wolves to manage Spurs and Saints win promotion to the Premier League after almost going under, saved by a takeover. Yeah. Not getting the realism anymore... -
****ing it down here just outside of Winchester, bit of thunder, two flashes of lightning. I really ought to go to bed to be honest.

Well after two and a half years at Berwick, which included two division titles, a Scottish cup-semi final and the Challenge Cup final, I've decided to move on. The Challenge Cup final against Dunfermline was my last game, sadly we lost 2 - 0 and just didn't play well enough at all. I leave Berwick second in the Scottish first division, six points behind Dunfermline in November - I could have stayed and mounted a title challenge but I've had enough. The club is so skint, it can't even go full time. I think that speaks volumes. Next up, Scandinavia, although I might be tempted by Wales for a season, never managed there (never had the ambition to either, but our Nigel did it). -

Can't fault your logic Mr. Stevo. It's a f*cking nightmare. -

Right, I went down to my local where they have free wifi at a staggering 850KB a second and downloaded the game from scratch in about an hour. Still quite sluggish, I've tried disabling threading. Minor improvement I think. Steam is a f*cking joke though, I just spoke to someone who waited 14 days for their technical support to get back to them. -

Yeah, that's what REALLY gets me. I can't play a game I paid for until a third party piece of sh*t tells me. I paid for it, I DECIDE! -

Well. Here's a right old c*ck-up. FM12 has basically completely died on my laptop. No one at SI had a solution, and then Steam itself broke. I've had to totally gut both things from my system and am starting from scratch, in the hope that'll sort it all out. Trouble is with my internet connection, I could be doing that for a while. Brilliant eh? -

There's an unbelievable amount of problems with this game, and from what I gather, Steam is really quite unpopular. -

Glad I could be of help Mr. Barnard. Me personally I'm having troubles again. Steam is refusing to open half the time, and when it does, FM12 crashes on startup. It's a f*cking joke. It's been going rapidly downhill in the game with the match engine starting to suffer, so I'm wondering what's going on. My MacBook is fine, not a problem with it at all. -

Ouch. Sorry mate. I've found on FM11 it takes ages for teams to be accustomed to it and become fully familiar with it. Give it time and it'll work. -

Here you go. It's a 4-3-3 with a playmaker on the left of a three man midfield. There are some instructions to go with this, but it's pretty simple. Wimbledon 2017 - 2018 After 15 minutes of a match, take the 'time wasting' slider down by three clicks. If you're not winning by 30 minutes, take it down another three clicks. If you then take the lead, take it back up by three clicks. Whatever the score, reset at half time. After half time, on 60 minutes, whatever the score, take it back down by three clicks. If by 75 minutes you're not winning, take it down by three clicks - as in the first half, if you then take the lead, back up by three clicks. I use it for home and away - on FM11 I took Wimbledon from the Conference to the Champions League in about ten years, I've currently got Berwick Rangers second in the Scots first division with it as well. Make sure when you look for players you have good stats in: Concentration Determination Team Work Work Rate Technique Anticipation Creativity Decisions For example, in the Scots third division, I only signed players who had at least a 5 in all of these. With Wimbledon when in the Champions League, they had to be at a minimum of 15. -

He really is good. If people are interested I might make my tactic available. It's based on a well known one from the SI forums. -

Sorry about that, bloody TwitPic. Success rate with my 4-3-3 Transfers in my first season Jamil Adam Jamil's scoring record -
From the Saints 2 - 1 Posh thread... In fact, the journo to ask Ferguson about that was Alex Crook - author of the Mail article.

In the press suite at St. Mary's today, the rumour was that Portsmouth wanted PARDEW. Hilarious. ****ing hilarious. General consensus from people in the know, the Russians don't want to splash the cash. Probably cos they haven't got any.

In a change of tact, Darren Ferguson did his post-match interviews before Nigel. Ferguson conducted himself well, but at one point made a comment along the lines of 'our players don't ***** and moan when it comes to yellow cards'. A journalist asked for clarification on this, to which he stubbornly replied 'I'm not talking about Southampton' and walked off. Nigel then came out for his interviews - I get the impression that he wanted to avoid Fergie Junior at all costs - and he was in a generally good mood.
