Went straight past it this morning about 45 minutes after it happened, emergency services had it covered. Amazing that the casualties and injuries (so far) is so low, it's such a congested area.

Weight loss has definitely slowed. Putting pounds on, apparently due to water retention. I read somewhere today you shouldn't weigh yourself on days where you're allowed vegetables. I think I know why - it's demoralising when you see your weight go up despite doing the right stuff!

You're quite right - I should have said he was rumoured to be at the training ground. The deal was quite close at that time though.

Remember when Clyne was at the training ground just as Adam Blackmore interviewed Nigel? Even then Nigel denied seeing him anywhere and played the rumours down. Doubt we'll hear much today.

I do agree, I think Yoshida has been very good of late. As with any signing I'll reserve judgement on him until I see him play, but I would imagine he would be brought in for direct competition, not backup.

He'd probably earn that dosh though. Their defence will be very busy for the next few months...

Why? We're after better players than we've already got. We have to be. On the face of it, both of those two will be better than what we have, i.e Seaborne, Martin, Fonte, Hooiveld. I think that's clutching at straws... The media team are based at the stadium.

I've been on the Dukan diet for a couple of weeks now and I am a pound shy of losing one stone. I'm into the 'cruise phase' of the diet where I'm permitted vegetables and the weight loss is expected to slow down soon - maybe one or two pounds a week - but I'm still shedding between half and a full pound a day. I feel better too. The exercise has helped, I'm now doing 30 minutes of brisk walking every day. Hoping to lose a further 20/21 pounds within the next couple of months.

To be honest, I'm amazed we didn't get Jutkiewicz, Howard and Stock in. A striker and two midfielders worthy of the Premier League and Saints fans too. To let them down the road get Howard? Disgusting.

Quite - had many of us heard of Davide Astori a couple of weeks ago, or seen enough of him to comment on his ability? Doubt it, but we HAVE to sign him and he is the be all and end all. Oh and by the way, Ramirez was a winger at Bologna, was he not?

I think it's also worth mentioning that 99% of the users on this forum had NEVER seen him play before, but were instantly shouting from the rooftops when we signed him. Ask yourself. Why? Has he lived up to the normal nonsensical amounts of hype generated by the easily excited on here? Perhaps not.
